Not explained in the anime but the reason why diablo had a tough time fixing the king and other 2 is that shion figured out she could use master chef on people and turned their normal state into human meat cube so he had to reverse that before he could heal them
Her food is so awful that she has to bend the laws of nature to make it edible. So her chef skill can do so much more than just cooking. And really Rimiru is a bit worried about how powerful she could become.

Yeah, I like how characters in Slime talk things out amicably before resulting violence if they can. It does give the series a certain freshness and political vibe. Can’t wait to see what S3 holds in store for us.
People frequently wondered, why is Rimuru keeping people around who wronged Tempest? Mjurran is also a good example of this. It's because they are necessary to his plans. In some cases, he is forgiving, but in others, like Razen, Rayhiem and King Edmaris, he needs them to achieve the new nation. They also can't just make Youm king, it has to happen because the country accepts it. Also, let's not forget that Rimuru and Raphael came up with the overall plan, more than it looks like in the anime, although Diablo definitely knew how to manipulate everyone into heading in the direction he wanted. Diablo's Skill Tempter is a lot like Merciless was. When Tempter is invoked by Diablo on people who surrender to him, and any kind of betrayal is detected, he can take their soul. He can also track them.
People’s complaints about keeping people who wronged tempest around hold so true for Yuuki though. Although we aren’t at that point in the anime yet, bro doesn’t deserve any of the chances he gets

@mpc1226 it's hard to explain, but having Yuuki around (and keeping tabs on him) is needed for Rimuru if he wants to easily maintain his image as a human-friendly demon lord, and it's honestly not the incorrect choice if you've read the light novels. Also, you're correct, but only if he actually succeeded in capturing him, which would be unlikely. We get Yuuki's backstory and a fight in book 12. It makes it clear that Rimuru's caution and wanting to keep Yuuki in the dark about his thoughts instead of trying to kill him (or capture him, which would actually be even more challenging, to be honest) were warranted entirely and the right choice. *Spoilers ahead for book 12 or so, I believe- there might also be info spoken about in LN books 13-18 that may not have been mentioned yet as well; it'll mainly be about Yuuki, though* We get a fight with Yuuki and Guy in book 12. Guy, indeed, could've wiped out Yuuki using a particular ability that only the strongest individuals in the universe can use (I won't spoil it because it's completely ridiculous and definitely hasn't been mentioned in the anime yet). Still, Rimuru isn't yet at the level of Guy. It may be surprising (though it's been mentioned that Guy and Milim are on an entirely different level even from most awakened demon lords, so really, it shouldn't be a shock to anyone), but Rimuru isn't that strong yet. Yes, he's much more potent than most awakened demon lords, but compared to True Dragons and Manas' (another thing that hasn't been mentioned yet pls, you may or may not know what that means, so don't look it up until book 15 or so), he really isn't all that. Like, the 4 ultimate skills are insane, but Raphael and Uriel can be considered support and defensive in nature (even if they're both the best of these types of skills). Beelzebuth is mainly broken because of the food chain and predation, while Veldora is just mass destruction, which would most likely not work against Yuuki because of Yuuki's abilities. Yuuki has a skill called Creator, one of the best unique skills ever made because it's capable of developing new skills. Yuuki is also an Esper (this was before transmigration btw- lol... why is this man just built different in every way, spiritually and physically), which means that he's capable of controlling his Spiritual body and the world around him and that in combination with his mind make Creator an extraordinarily versatile Skill that can basically make him capable of doing anything he wants. Doesn't wanna get hit by skills? Anti-skill. Want to get healed with magicules? oh, dw slay, let's turn it off for a second (tee-hee!) This is why killing Yuuki would be dozens of times harder than killing Hinata. There's also the fact that Hinata is relatively straightforward compared to Yuuki. There's a reason why Yuuki was mentioned at the same time as Hinata; He's just as talented as her (if not more so), and he also never allowed his childhood trauma to hold him back. For example, Yuuki's parents were killed when he was younger by a driver for falling asleep while driving. Considering how Hinata cared enough to kill her own father when he abused her mother, she would've definitely killed the driver if she was in his position. Yuuki didn't, though, even though he had psychic abilities from childhood. He looked into it and found it wasn't entirely the driver's fault, so he spared him. Now, does this mean he's more sane than Hinata? Well... No. He just decided that society as a whole was messed up. This also meant that when he transmigrated and figured out that skills were a thing, he decided that he would one day rule the world- because at least he's a RATIONAL mental patient! (I love oxymorons) He only decided to make a mess of the world when he knew there was a chance at succeeding. Yuuki is a genius; he defeated a demon lord seed in a battle of wills about 2 minutes after Transmigrating. Hinata is a genius like him but hasn't fully awakened as a Saint. Hinata actually hadn't fully transformed into a Hero yet because her mental state has been poor ever since she killed her father, which is understandable considering her mother wasn't even grateful at all 😭 See why these statements together sound odd? it's because it doesn't make sense. If Yuuki has the same potential as Hinata, then why hasn't he become an awakened and enlightened Saint yet? Well~ indeed, it surely isn't entirely because he had no reason to and found it more useful for people to underestimate him instead of awakening, even though it would've made living so much easier after not even needing to breathe? Oh no- Guy showed up! He neutralized my anti-skill using flames; what if Guy burned all the air around him so I can't breathe in any oxygen? OK, Perf. Let's evolve into a Saint so I won't have to breathe. Yuuki also wasn't willing to abandon the Clowns and Kagali, so he didn't seem to actually pull out any desperate moves that would've allowed Yuuki to survive but caused him to lose his body. Now, Hinata was what Yuuki described as "a prisoner to her human body," saying that (in general) she thought too much like a human. Yuuki honestly doesn't seem to care much about his status as a human, which means that if Yuuki really needed to, he could abandon his human body and become a spiritual life-form if needed. He also has total control over his spiritual body, so if he wanted to, he could probably create a skill if he really needed and cause himself to go through space with his soul and not his body. He's built that differently with how ridiculous he is as a character. Then, after Guy leaves Yuuki alone, Yuuki decides to get stronger and creates an Ultimate skill (he was feeling a little scared 👉👈😖). Like wtf???????? So basically, if Rimuru decided to kill Yuuki, he probably would've been able to escape and only would've made Yuuki forcefully transform himself into a Saint ahead of s; it would've left him with an Enlightened individual with an Ultimate skill as an enemy in the East (a place he has no access to).

There's a chance that a lot of stuff I said has come from my impression of Yuuki and Hinata in books 13-18, so depending on whether or not you've read those (or how long ago you've read them) it would be understandable if you're a bit confused from the amount of detail I put in my comment. 😭 If you've only read the Web Novel, I suggest you start over on the Light Novel instead or maybe ignore what I said entirely bc I have no idea what happens with Yuuki in the Web Novel other than the fact that he's apparently even more of a villain in it ☠

@@Munchkinz11 It isn't that easy to notice so early in the season, but I've seen at least four different opinions on the animation this season and they don't align at all. Every person who even notices it talks about completely different things, and some like it and some don't. People haven't yet been able to compare notes, and I don't think there's a consensus yet.
It's not important....it has some foreshadowing of things that are important later. But everything will be explained later anyway. Nothing happened that was core to the plot.
