To slide the tape in the two plastic bits either side are pushed forward. Getting the ribbon to stay in is tricky. The side bits rock. Push the ribbon in squarely; secure one side, then the other.

The only part I couldnt do, you covered with your hands.... I cant slide the tape in, dont know how, random keys dont work.
