The MIDI guitar Rob usually uses is made by a company called Starr Labs with the model usually being some variant of a Ztar Z6S. It's a really interesting piece of gear. It has six strings you can pick or strum and then the entire fretboard are midi buttons. It's almost like a guitar hero controller on steroids
its basically a modern keytar with more options. it can be set up different ways. Pendulum use it like a keyboard, but then you got the avalanches who program it for sample activation in their full band shows.
This wasn't released it was a surprise on the day, I remember finding out pendulum was a secret set and sprinted across the festival to get there in time for this
You know a remix is good when you love the original song and are still impressed by the remix. They really made it their own and somehow kept what made the original brilliant. The only issue is that there doesn’t seem to be an official high quality version to listen to lol
