The double bass he did at the end with the riff was epic. Being he didn't do that in the studio recording made it a perfect improvisation

I met these guys on my flight back from Paris on March 19th. Really nice group of guys. Glad to see they have such success and know what religion really is! I wish I'd know that when I met them. I would have had a much more in depth conversation with them.

I really don't like the guitar tones that they've been using recently. I like the old crunchy Effigy of the Forgotten or Pierced from Within sound that they used to have. They're still fucking awesome though

I think it's good bands are vocal and expressing their dislike of Christianity. I wish Frank wouldn't use such generic reasons, though.
I don't dislike Christianity, I respect it and I understand why some people are. Totally fine with that.
What I think these bands are against is the church as an entity. The church has been as criminal as it can be, but because it was considered holy, nobody questioned about their actions. That's what these guys are talking about. Honestly, I don't think they're against christianity at all. To each their own.

The sound we hear in a live set is a MIKED drumkit that goes directly to a Sound Engineer monitor, who then equalizes it, and THAT is what we actually hear. Mike Smith is a beast but I dont know who hits harder.
Had you the opportunity to hear them alone on a rehearsal to know that thing for real? or are you just comparing the sound you get from a LIVE video on RUclips?
