  • Lots of people love air tools, but I found they caused me more issues than they did helping me. Hope this helps you to make an informed decision on buying detailing tools.

What is the cfm on your air compressor? Some tools require more cfm than others

I believe its 2.5CFM at 90PSI . I can't run the tool for long periods of time, but if I take breaks it's fine. PSI matters more for performance of the tool

i have a steamer, tornador, and a tornador mini thye all have there intended uses but i can promise you will run into interiors were if you use steam it will ruin things on the car you i can see how lugging all that around in a car would be a pain i would suggest investing in a small van or something that is dedicated for your detailing it will make life alot easier it is a big expense but it make your business look more legitimate and more professional just my two cents but all detailers have a different way of doing things but you will need more than just a steamer

Thanks for the tips, I've been thinking about getting a van but just don't wanna invest yet. Steamers can definitely be problematic as well. I just found using a brush for carpets to be what worked best 99% of the time. When do you usually use the tornador? Everytime I'd use it dirt would get everywhere that I'd already cleaned lol

@@DualDetail so this is something that i start with by blowing everything from the back to the front then blow out dash and center console area to the floor then vacuum everthing from there then i do my basic wipe down blowing cleaner from cracks and crevices then if i have things that did not come off with the scrub and wipe down i will use steamer to heat and loosen that stuff up to remove it
