The screams are harrowing, very traumatic and believable. The frustration for me comes from how accurate the whole situation is. The police did nothing, constantly saying we can't do anything, we can't do anything. There's a problem with the system. You know this person is of high risk and you can't do anything until he actually does something and this is what happens, you wait until he acts and potentially kills someone or ruins someone's life in this case.
Amazing acting from Ryan and Daisy. They played their parts really well and the acting was amazing from both of them. Poor Ryan though. He must be so much pain and I really hope Justin gets brought to justice and faces the consequences in prison. Justin is horrible and nasty character throughout the programme.
I've tried to watch this so many times and I just have mental flashbacks of when my friend got attacked with acid on his stag do by his wife's ex and all we could do was drown him in a river the fear in his eyes was something I will never want to see again just every time he got brought back up he was crying begging for help and we kept having to put him through it I'm so glad he got through it now he has a daughter and couldn't be more grateful I only wish I was the one that took it rather than getting stupid little splashes on me
It will be intresting to see how they handle the fact that his mother isnt there thought. Will she visit him but always off screen? Kind of cold for a parent to just not show up after something like this, so I guess they have to come up with something.
If they chilled out with the editing in the second half, it would be easier for me to care. The music and all the foley are a bit much but I appreciate what they're trying to do and the actors do a good job of selling it.

The storylines are different, Ross was a victim of mistaken identity as well as the acid was intended for joe Tate. Who wasn’t no where near the scene at the time the acid was thrown. Justin knew who his target was, daisy was right in front of him but Ryan jumped to her defence.
