I noticed at around 50-55 seconds you turned off your radar. Does doing this reset where the radar is pointed? I use manual controls mostly but I hate having to move the scope up and down.
It's for resetting gimbal of the radar
@@exqali okay thanks. Gonna start doing this now, as I tend to go in at like 5kMeters/ 15k feet with my radar looking at the ground targets

Well, according to some Japanese documents I've had the pleasure of reading, yes... the missile is indeed quite powerful. The AAM-4B represents an even greater technological leap. The AAM-4 missiles, throughout their operational history, have been far ahead of their time. This isn't surprising, as a large part of the key technology in Western missiles was either invented or provided by the Japanese, even if it was just the intellectual contribution to the engineering effort

@@Bad_Karma777I’m pretty sure they’re waiting for the R-77-1 and AIM-120-C5. Both are in the files and already have some aspects of both modeled. For obvious reasons they’re not present yet lol
Are AAM4s worth taking?
@@SkullH4T yes mainly bc AAM4 has more fin AOA than AMRAAM so it’s worth taking a couple for short range engagements,
@Icemanツ just unlocked the plane so I figured maybe take like 2 aam4s and rest amraams with a couple aam3s
F-15J(M) is my most played top tier based on the camo alone
Also gaijin pls buff aam-4 and give aam-3 dual band seeker head even though that would be absurdly op)

BR 13.0 is just not viable. Until the top tier goes to 14.3 or 14.7, it’s better to forget about it. If you’re aiming for the F-15J(M), good luck and keep your nerves of steel. Playing as AJ at 13.0, I can barely get 4 kills, and if I survive, it’s just luck because I rely on the team to win so I can be opportunistic... When I see we’re going to lose, I just head back to base and eject. Sadly, that’s what Gaijin does to us. I always say we should revolt against this greedy behavior from the snail

how to you get into battle with those f15's without anyone launching at you???
Basically, understanding your enemies and positioning yourself well are crucial. To be stealthy now, you need to figure out where your enemies are looking. With good radar and alert systems, it's easier for a lot of players these days. If you know how to stay hidden, it's tough to get spotted. Practice and improve your routes early and mid-game. It’s not a sure thing, but sometimes you can snag an ace with just one good game
why would you take AAM4 ? isn't aim120 better one except in +20km range shots
1st - Usually, BVR fights mostly happen at the start of the game, so carrying 100% of my payload for something that only happens 20-30% of the time doesn’t make much sense, right?
2nd - I’m not into BVR; I’m more about close-range fights and dogfights. I go after those kinds of battles, so it makes more sense to carry a missile that’s more accurate at those ranges. I think the AAM-4 is way deadlier than the AIM-120 if used right. Not sure if it’s the missile’s fuse or the TNT amount, but it’s pretty brutal

Well, apparently Gaijin broke the PostFX in the major update. If they don’t fix it, my awesome graphics might come to an end. Let’s hope they fix it soon!

I have to keep relearning how Fox 3s work every week because Gaijin keeps fixing and breaking stuff with them. If I made a tutorial, it’d probably only be relevant for like two weeks or less... Top-tier gameplay is tricky to explain these days, it’s not just a simple formula. Seems like Gaijin’s making the game more about RNG :/
