Also in the dark scene where BTS are wearing robes, they are together but Jungkook is in the centre with the conch. Which could mean that not only he completed his inner journey but is able to unite others. And while Jk was able to unite but RM was the one to lead to the new world. It's just my theory.

My interpretation is BTS is telling THEIR story as korean artists in the industry. Jin in the middle of war: When they began as KPOP idols, it was a battlefield. They were competing with many artists and idol companies. Jimin with the drummer boy: They were young, unarmed, basically going into the field on entertainment without enough experience or a huge company backing them up. Taehyung's scene with the girl: They were crucified by the industry and although they had the army with them they kept the darkness/struggles to themselves and the army was unaware of such (hence the girl was blindfolded) RM Noah's ark: But they believed in themselves and their leade. RM was leading them on this journey. Jin with the cages: They are all in a cage, bound to their contract, their status in the entertainment world. JK with Thorned handcuffs: They plan to escape their status. To break free. But as they do, there was alot of trials and struggles ahead. JHope's scene: The future, the death of JK. The past is done they are now focused on their future. Suga's cult: They built an ARMY, dedicated followers with almost cult like behavior. JK's scene: He is reborn and free. Now he calls out the the others to gather and unite. Dance break: They fought their haters, with ARMY behind them. The group altogether heading to pride rock: They are have successfully ended their journey and is now beginning a new one. :)
I'm a hindu and in indian mythology a shankh is used to signify the start and the end of the wars so after kookie blows the shankh for which btw you need some REALLY strong lungs The war or one can also say confrontation occurs between them and their shadow after which they complete the cycle

I love the moment when Namjoon raises his hands together in prayer at 13:25, "The destiny of a single person can affect the world as a whole". This magnificent truth comes to life in RM, as he is not only the leader of BTS but also the English speaker who has assisted BTS and their positive message becoming known to the entire world. I think of him standing in front of the boys while he addressed the United Nations (symbolizing the world) and we often lovingly call him our "president". In his speech to the UN he reflected that he was only an ordinary boy in his childhood, dreaming that he was a super hero saving the world. This gave me chills then and it does again now. The most powerful moments in this video, for me, was the sight of Namjoon calmly and steadily leading the members of BTS forward, up into the light and to their destiny. And we are following joyfully along, not seven anymore.

And watching youtube videos about Jung and many other works by different authors a while back, so it wasn’t too difficult to understand what was going on in the music video. I did say it reminded me of Lord of the Rings 🌋 Including the grassy plains as well. I noticed that too with Jungkook in the middle, the others standing on each side of him like that, it does look like a bird with wings. Birds also fly in that a v or arrow shape. It’s an obvious thing, that this cliffside looks like Pride Rock, especially when Simba comes back and it rains and everything grows back at the end of the film. I remember watching the mv a second time rewatching Tae's part multiple times. Tae's part was my favorite out the mv so when I took a closer look I noticed the way he was laying. And I was like "Why does he look like the cross?" And I watched their mv shoot sketch and Tae says that it's thorns digging into his neck.

They have been writing songs since before their debut. (Since 2005 or 2007). That's how dedicated they are to music. I agree I learned more about Yoongi's scene too.

Thank you again! I wanted to add, that JK's storyline in the MV is also a reference to The Truth Untold fairy tale that Namjoon made up. It was about someone cast out from city walls, forced to live away from all he had known, he eventually built a small home and cultivated a garden (symbol for creating/living your life). Until one day, a woman happened upon his home and garden. The garden is where their fictitious flower the Smeraldo grows. She found the flowers to be so beautiful, she picked a few to take back to her home. As she did this he watched from a distance, he found her to be beautiful and didn’t want to scare her away. She would come back regularly after that day to pick his beautiful flowers, which he now grew for her. Each time he would watch from the shadows. He told himself that one day he will find the courage to speak to her. One day he was anticipating her arrival again, but this time she did not come, nor the next time. Years passed and she never came back to his garden. Eventually, he did find some courage to venture back into the walled city from where she came from. He inquired about the beautiful woman who would come to his garden and pick his flowers. He finally found out that she had passed away. He realized then, that he had waited too long. Now his dream to be with her will never come true. This was Namjoon’s long winded and extremely beautiful way of telling ARMY don’t be late to follow your dreams. Just do it. Because there will come a day when it may be too late to see that dream come true. Because of the back story to TTU, the very end sequence for JK hit me so hard especially ending with the word Dream.
I don't think the Truth Untold story is made up by Namjoon. It was already a story from a part of Italy. It is about the Smeraldo flower. It's a myth or legend, like the stories about the Greek gods and heroes. I do agree, with the following your dreams part Namjoon and BTS talk about.

What I found out : 1. Jin has the ability to time travel according to bangtan universe. When he brings the dove in the house full of cages... the other cages represent he has travelled back in time many times to save the dove (to save the people before war) and then he finally succeeds. 2. Every member goes through the process of individuation according to their own story. Jungkook is the last one to go through the process of individuation. When he joins the others when the maze opens , there are other people coming behind them symbolises the people bts brought through the process of individuation. The people there are army's. They tried to show that they brought people along with them teaching them the process of loving ourselves , facing ourselves , accepting out shadow , ego and persona and all the other thing they taught us! 3. If you take a look back at the bangtan universe, jungkook always lags behind the boys.... (the last one to complete every process) he is always running behind the boys like we saw in euphoria and we always see him a little sad. The boys are already together... either jk lags behind or the boys overtake him! In the last scene we see jk overtaking the other boys + with a bright smile... this means that they have gone through everything and all processess are completed! Does this mean that they have achieved their target of what they wanted people to know.... does this mean they'll disband now??!! Idk I'm crying already!
This is so fascinating and well researched. I love this channel. Always has very in depth analysis. Also, this whole concept of cycle and every one is a replica of the universe itself and that the past, present and future is there in everyone echoes Hindu philosophy as described in their religious texts the Bhagvad Geeta. But then again a lot of ancient religions portray the same thing differently. I find a lot of Jung's theories reflecting that.

Thank you for this amazing analysis. The boy with the drum reminds me of German author Guenther Grass book “ The tin drum” , which is about Hitlers time in Germany. The boy does not look like a child, but as a grown-up in a body of a child.
Exactly this! The first time I saw that boy, I thought he looked like he had been through hell. The boy looks like a cancer survivor, or as you said 'a grown up in a child's body'. I think the little boy represents damaged parts of ourselves that we try to suppress, or parts or ourselves which we didn't feed enough. They end up looking sickly and malnourished like the boy. Until we an embrace and nourish our inner child, each dream (like the discarded drums), will keep dying or going to waste/discarded. That's just my thought.

I love the moment when Namjoon raises his hands together in prayer at 13:25, "The destiny of a single person can affect the world as a whole". This magnificent truth comes to life in RM, as he is not only the leader of BTS but also the English speaker who has assisted BTS and their positive message becoming known to the entire world. I think of him standing in front of the boys while he addressed the United Nations (symbolizing the world) and we often lovingly call him our "president". In his speech to the UN he reflected that he was only an ordinary boy in his childhood, dreaming that he was a super hero saving the world. This gave me chills then and it does again now. The most powerful moments in this video, for me, was the sight of Namjoon calmly and steadily leading the members of BTS forward, up into the light and to their destiny. And we are following joyfully along, not seven anymore.

Agreed, a beautiful masterpiece. I needed a break after watching it the first time lol Then I rewatched it and wrote down all of the things I saw, felt, and remembered. I remember reading many of the literature years ago. And watching youtube videos about Jung and many other works by different authors a while back, so it wasn’t too difficult to understand what was going on in the music video.

Jungkook saving humanity with the bridge (I love that.) Agreed and also one of my favorite parts of the mv and song. And the natural lighting from the sun, just made it more amazing 😲🤭 I love hearing his voice in this section. I mentioned some of this in a comment on one of your other theory videos, of the cycle of resetting, especially with Jin in the ‘Save me’ webtoon. And the repetition of one of them dying every time Jin tries to save them. Poor Jungkookie, getting hurt and dying so many times in this mv 🤕😔 He's okay now :)

It’s an obvious thing, that this cliffside looks like Pride Rock, especially when Simba comes back and it rains and everything grows back at the end of the film. I remember watching the mv a second time rewatching Tae's part multiple times. Tae's part was my favorite out the mv so when I took a closer look I noticed the way he was laying. And I was like "Why does he look like the cross?" And I watched their mv shoot sketch and Tae says that it's thorns digging into his neck.

I wanted to add, that JK's storyline in the MV is also a reference to The Truth Untold fairy tale that Namjoon made up.
It was about someone cast out from city walls, forced to live away from all he had known, he eventually built a small home and cultivated a garden (symbol for creating/living your life). Until one day, a woman happened upon his home and garden. The garden is where their fictitious flower the Smeraldo grows. She found the flowers to be so beautiful, she picked a few to take back to her home. As she did this he watched from a distance, he found her to be beautiful and didn’t want to scare her away. She would come back regularly after that day to pick his beautiful flowers, which he now grew for her. Each time he would watch from the shadows. He told himself that one day he will find the courage to speak to her.
One day he was anticipating her arrival again, but this time she did not come, nor the next time. Years passed and she never came back to his garden.
Eventually, he did find some courage to venture back into the walled city from where she came from. He inquired about the beautiful woman who would come to his garden and pick his flowers. He finally found out that she had passed away.
He realized then, that he had waited too long. Now his dream to be with her will never come true.
This was Namjoon’s long winded and extremely beautiful way of telling ARMY don’t be late to follow your dreams. Just do it. Because there will come a day when it may be too late to see that dream come true.
Because of the back story to TTU, the very end sequence for JK hit me so hard especially ending with the word Dream.
I don't think the Truth Untold story is made up by Namjoon. It was already a story from a part of Italy. It is about the Smeraldo flower. It's a myth or legend, like the stories about the Greek gods and heroes.

What I found out :
1. Jin has the ability to time travel according to bangtan universe. When he brings the dove in the house full of cages... the other cages represent he has travelled back in time many times to save the dove (to save the people before war) and then he finally succeeds.
2. Every member goes through the process of individuation according to their own story. Jungkook is the last one to go through the process of individuation. When he joins the others when the maze opens , there are other people coming behind them symbolises the people bts brought through the process of individuation. The people there are army's. They tried to show that they brought people along with them teaching them the process of loving ourselves , facing ourselves , accepting out shadow , ego and persona and all the other thing they taught us!
3. If you take a look back at the bangtan universe, jungkook always lags behind the boys.... (the last one to complete every process) he is always running behind the boys like we saw in euphoria and we always see him a little sad. The boys are already together... either jk lags behind or the boys overtake him! In the last scene we see jk overtaking the other boys + with a bright smile... this means that they have gone through everything and all processess are completed!
Does this mean that they have achieved their target of what they wanted people to know.... does this mean they'll disband now??!! Idk I'm crying already!

This is so fascinating and well researched. I love this channel. Always has very in depth analysis. Also, this whole concept of cycle and every one is a replica of the universe itself and that the past, present and future is there in everyone echoes Hindu philosophy as described in their religious texts the Bhagvad Geeta. But then again a lot of ancient religions portray the same thing differently. I find a lot of Jung's theories reflecting that.

Exactly this! The first time I saw that boy, I thought he looked like he had been through hell. The boy looks like a cancer survivor, or as you said 'a grown up in a child's body'.
I think the little boy represents damaged parts of ourselves that we try to suppress, or parts or ourselves which we didn't feed enough. They end up looking sickly and malnourished like the boy.
Until we an embrace and nourish our inner child, each dream (like the discarded drums), will keep dying or going to waste/discarded.
That's just my thought.
