Hey!!!! First of all... Thanks for this video!!! Going to be upgrading to this case in a week and really enjoyed how you explained everything about this case in detail. Going to have custom PC information on the screen and some animated things that play as well.
I like the idea of it being a builder friendly case due to having a display hand and could do all of os and drive install with out having to grab monitor or carry one around to show that pc is set up right .
I recently bought the D41 model of this case. The only complaint i have is the lack of airflow for a top mounter radiator. When gaming for multiple hrs the top of the case is scalding hot and you can barely feel any air venting out compared to my previous case. I think it needs a bit more space above the radiator or bigger holes to exhaust out more efficiently. I'm going to remove the AIO and install a Peerless Assassin air cooler so the hot air is vented to the rear which appears to have much better air flow with the larger holes around the rear exhaust fan.I noticed in the video it was mentioned the case rocks a bit on the desk. I didn't experience that and feels rock solid. Besides the airflow issue at the top of the case I think the overall build quality is really good for the price.
I am planning to get 1 D41 myself and am worry on the the cpu cooler wont get enough cool air. Did your Peerless Assassin air cooler works well ? how did you configure the fan (top as intake for the air cooler or only rely on the bottom intake ?)
@@Eriol3751 yes I installed the peerless assassin and really happy with it. Cpu temps improved and more consistent. My gpu is quite long so couldn’t fit a front intake fan but I put two intakes at bottom and rear exhaust. The rear exhaust area is quite warm but no where near as hot as top of the case when I had the radiator and you feel the warm air venting out the rear now. With the radiator you couldn’t feel a thing. Make sure to have low profile ram or you’ll have issues with side window panel closing properly.
@@atsgem hmm , in that case I might need a new air cooler as well. I am currently using the ryzen 5 stock cooler but I do have an old AIO from my friend which I hope can work by using it as intake. Previously Your AIO is configure as intake or exhaust ?
I am happy to see that you can put a 120mm fan over the HDD….. ANTEC has 120mm and 140mm fans that are 30mm thick…. Much more flow…. Doesn’t violate any tolerances I would definitely recommend And if you go AIO do a 280mm AIO on top with the ANTEC fans. Just check radiator and fan clearance number against your motherboard
You didn't show the front panel monitor connections. I bought this case yesterday and I just wanted to know if the USB-C connection on the back of the small screen is just for power, and if I could sacrifice a USB-A port to the USB-C to power the screen, instead of sacrificing my one and only USB-C port on the rear I/O panel.
yooo cheers for this!! can it fit a 30mm front fan ? with 3x120 on bottom? why are the air bubbles stuck in the pump? i think gamers nexus recommended the orientation layout you chose for aio's what space is above the psu in its highest setting would there be room for a 30mm fan above?
if you just uninstalled your water pump from the cpu upright, the air inside would have moved to the top of the radiator and your noise problem would have been resolved. Just think gravity, you installed it back side down as is typical, letting it hang vertically would allow for the water to flow down, forcing the air up, the bend in the tubes will restrict hydrostatic pressure holding the air down.
Did you consider the Fractal Pop mini? I have a Coolermaster q300l, want something slammer, but I am stuck between this and the fractal. Very nice build btw!!
AWSOME BUILD BUDDY...ONE GUY SAID HE DIDNT LIKE THE JONESBO SOFTWARE FOR THE SCREEN, DID YOU HAFTA MESS WITH THAT OR THE MONITOR JUST SEEMS TO WORK LIKE A HDMI MONITOR,,,,HE MAY BEEN TALIKNG ABOUT SOFTWARE FOR MONITORING TEMPS..
Thanks for making the video on this case! I want to get one and was wondering how the build will go. Question, can you feed screen from CPU video and use discrete for external display? How do the built in display cables look? Thanks in advance!
The small screen is just seen as another monitor like any other screen, so if you can get your system to use the CPU and GPU video at the same time, then yes. I think it depends on whether your motherboard allows this though.
Why buy an expensive Z series motherboard when you don't want to overclock which is what a Z series is all about? a B series would have done what you wanted for less money.
I just bought the black ATX version and have no regrets so far. Easy to build in and like you stated, once the build is finished it becomes far more rigid. The only cons i can think of is the mounting mechanisms used for the glass-panel and side-panels because they come off too easily and it's hard to cablemanage a non-modulair PSU. But the included LCD screen makes up for all that and espescially the ease of use of it. (you can just plug it in any PC, console, smartphone, tablet etc. and it works, if you get the right connectors for them ofcourse) For the price it truly is a no-brainer i'd say.
@@Jake_203 This case is a king for airflow as well as for AIO cooling solutions. Just be sure to use a modulair PSU or SFX powersupply although allmost any size fits. So far i am very happy with all aspects of this case and i have no regrets. The unique part of this case is that it can literally house 9x 120 mm fans if you would like to... but it's always a personal choice in the end ofcourse.
It's cool but not very useful other than if you displayed temps on it, other than that you never really look at it. For It's price though it's cool nonetheless

Comes with plastic panel clips though, they are known to break
Very detailed unboxing. Thank you!

I love the look of this case, but, no front and top dust filters? Oof.

I would love to see this case with a full atx psu
I’ve been looking at this case for awhile however is it possible to vertical mount a 4070ti vertically?
Were you able to fit in a 120mm fan in front with the 3.5 HDD at the bottom? I was planning with my setup very very similar to yours
how big of a mother board can you fit in this?
Micro atx
This is the 1st video on this case I've watched that used a small form factor PSU.

What is that Aio?
The pump on the rad itself would make bottom mounted rads viable again since the pump itself is at the lowest point.
Say "what not" one more time

How did you set the fan? Was it exchaust? or intake?
Bottom intake and side exhaust
That AIO any good?
I also have Fractal. Maybe try Jonsbo D41 Mesh?
Where did you buy the case from?
Where did u got the case and screen?
You can pre order it on newegg right now. It is called the JONSBO D31 MESH SC WHITE
.
Newegg will sell it soon. Jonsbo d31
I got the same from the official Jonsbo page in Alixpress. Since it's a chinese brand you do not have to worry, and it's much cheaper
E-ATX not supported
love that case very cool

What about the temps? I kinda like this case but i'm worried about the airflow, thats why i am considering the NZXT H6 Flow

They could of made the display white bezels looks stupid with black bezels

Your cheap AIO sounds like a broken toilet with running water.
