For women listening to this podcast, I can’t stress enough how imperative the 23 minute mark is. It’s hard for us to be vulnerable with women because we don’t trust that you won’t use that vulnerability as a weapon against us in a disagreement. I knew I’d marry my wife because she was the 1st woman I ever met where I thought she was a safe space honestly. Men are not innately vulnerable so CHERISH that space if you reached it lol. The moment you abuse we will NEVER view you as “safe” again.

Women have proven themselves to be without honor. This is why they don't respect their vows. It's that simple.
He switched the formula from getting women with toxic views and dunking on them to finding women with similar views to have a productive dialogue. Great work! The dunks were fun and still informative (🙏🏾RIP Kevin Samuels aka Vince Carter) but this is where the manosphere needs to go.

What you’re missing is that these are the same women (literally). They started out with toxic views and learned from the initial experience to develop into what you see here.
I don’t think he “dunked” on them. I take dunking as power move of dominance or embarrassment. I think he heard them out and tried to enlighten them to things they didn’t realize or know. I think he greatly helped those women see the truth about who they were and how they thought.

This the only panel of all black folks on a podcast I’ll listen to . This was great and beneficial. First time in a long time I could actually sit and listen to black women as well, not boastful about shit whilst also blaming other for their shortcomings like the other typically do. Not talking about useless shit in relation to relationships and men ...very satisfying to listen them. The brother spoke like men , consider their role in their life’s happenings and left it there . I dig it all the way . Not talking about sex and nonsense. Respect to all y’all
I once told a female I was talking to, to fire her therapist; because she would get easily triggered by simple questions I asked regarding the so-called treatment she was receiving.
Do you think the therapists was taking her side on issues y’all might have had ?
@@DefiLieteracy😅 it wasn't issues between us. I was an outside party assessing the issues from an unbiased perspective. It was unresolved issues dealing with her parents and their relationship.

Most therapists are not as experienced as people think. Finding a good therapist is harder then finding a good barber.
Good therapist's don't tell you what you should or shouldn't do.
They help you to establish your core values, navigate your boundaries, and process your thoughts and past/current experiences with healthy processing, coping, and behavioral tools like; saying no and meaning it, journaling to release your thoughts, critical and objective thinking, conflict resolution, boundary setting, practicing Self-Compassion, active forgiveness, and more.
A therapist can give you the blueprint but the client has to do the work.
**I'm not saying bad therapists don't exist. But I am saying it's not always on the therapist either. Sounds like ol'girl is stuck in a fear driven trauma loop.

Hang in there ladies. He's absolutely right! I wanted a successful, smart man who spent all his time with me. We've been married for 23yrs...the kids are out of the house (mostly). He now works from home. I countdown the days until his travel days. People are fickle. They don't know what they want.
I love how Raw you guys are , you are touching points that people don't dig into especially digging into men and their emotions , wanting variety of things from one person that don't match up . Loving yourself , understanding what you're giving off and also having boundaries to say I'm not staying in this . And then accountability topics are so spot on .

"If you don't use her she does not feel useful" Being an Aerospace engineer that can cook, clean, and do my own hair leaves not a lot for women to do in my life. I also have my own non-profit in 100% of schools in Flint so never short of solutions. Women literally tell me at 26 that they have nothing to offer and that's when it clicked........ Also its proven therapy does not work for men as well given they are too action oriented and therapy is more of an identifier of problems than creating solutions, which is then why men often feel lost after sessions. Also told I'm like a robot or too human, so that's a me thing and not women. I know my faults in relationships but they're definitely a strength when it comes to work/success
Having lived a well adjusted life by putting women no higher than 4 in social importance, is one of the best decisions I ever made.
Oh, and the welfare of my daughters were ranked in positions 1, 2, 3.
One of the reasons why good relationships and marriages are so scarce is we want to negotiate first principles of what makes a long term relationship work. It’s like arguing Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. It’s like arguing whether a car needs a steering wheel. I’ve been the same man more our less since college. I haven’t changed. Only a few women understood first principles. The one that got it, I married. And only a few men understand first principles which is why too many end up with fraudulent women. The rules of what makes a relationship work has not changed. The same sh*t that worked a hundred years ago works today. But we argue ourselves into being single. We come up with unproven heuristics that are patently false. It’s painful to watch. However, I love this channel because at least it’s trying to repair the damage.

@@paullamah5073 thank you. We now live in a world where subjectivity overrules facts on the ground. The evidence is clear. An army of relationship psychologist and marriage counselors have already laid out the facts. We ignore it at our own peril. I remember reading a book called Data Smog by David Shenk. This book is 25 years old. He warned then that society would be overwhelmed with so much information, that without the necessary media and information literacy, that the average person would create their own information echo chamber assuming those echoes were tangible information. As you know an echo is a reflection of the original sound. So it sounds similar. But you’re not getting the original sound. People mistake similar for congruency. Essentially conflating the two. Which is why the echo chamber is so dangerous.

In the context of the discussion, the hope is that we start with the basic rules of what works in a relationship and start from there. A great book that touches on this, and I just bought the book is The Value of Others: Understanding the Economic Model of Relationships to Get (and Keep) More of What You Want in the Sexual Marketplace by Orion Tarraban
The Jada/Will situation is triggering because Will is the ultimate example of a man doing everything that could possibly be on a woman’s list of requirements and he still couldn’t get a loyal woman.

Having listened to the podcast, I commend the ladies for facing reality and the men also. That said, men will need to work or do better on that default setting about what if my wife can't provide during pregnancy? 80% of those fears are unreal and do not come to pass. We need to ease-off the brake of fear of 'Provision' as things won't be perfect in-between those times but manageable. This idea of being able to PERFECTLY provide only adds more unnecessary pressures. I mean as much as the basics are covered, food, shelter, bills and family, it's ok to go lean a bit for things to normalize itself. Men shouldn't wait for that perfect moment before they dive into raising a family, cuz truth be told, no perfect time in the grand scheme of things. Still one of the best Black culture podcast I listen to. Big ups to them ladies, and men. I love the ladies attitudes, and pray that they find the coolest guy soon. God's got this! And the men, trust me, we more of y'all around. Peace.

I really appreciate these talks, it makes you understand the behavior, thoughts and background of the other person. I've been watching tons of podcasts about relationships and also ingaged in a few with Pearly Things and what I love about this one is,it seems everyone is talking towards a goal of working with each other as both man and women.
Late to the party but FrFr the accountability conversation applies to not only the relationships between men and women but the relationship of men and women with themselves. Is three hardest thing for many a person to do.

Just some advice. This channel is amazing and I think you’re making a great change. When it comes to this video it seems like it’s been shot on one of the newer iPhones. I think you should look into increasing the production value by color grading the video. The video looks flat but also the light over exposed.

I would ask the ladies of the panel, if you were to show this conversation and content to your 20 year old, 25 year old, 30 year old versions of you all, would they be receptive to the conversation? Really take in what's being said.
That's the problem I see in these time we are in. Attention spans are 15 seconds to minute long. Media(social, mainstream) has corrupted there minds to think anything outside of what's being push to them is not true.

Facts Allen and great job by everyone here. I definitely agree we shine light on wrong or things we don’t agree with way too much. Let them pookies and shanaenaes be together while we do our thing. If they want to convert then let’s bring them in however I think we should focus at this time on building strong family foundations that want too. If we get enough families to do this then we will create a community that builds excellence from father to mother and children. Now the issue would be what happens to the offspring of those pookies and shanaenaes 😂? This is really complex but I think we should start building the nucleus of family on solid principles.
I love this format of conversation. The respect level is extremely high for all parties. Often times these forums be over saturated in EMOTION. Which tend to lead into DISRESPECTFUL cut offs and talking OVER each other. The thing that is CONSTANT with this is. “Well men do”….. When we talking about the other sex. Most times we don’t get to the bottom of an issue/topic because we get derailed by “Well y’all do this or that too” etc.

I’ve always felt like therapy when done correctly is no different than going to the dentist knowing you have a cavity that they told you how to avoid. Not only are you going to get chewed out, but the process of fixing it is going to be uncomfortable and it’s going to cost you. Therapy in the way a lot of people use it would be the equivalent of the doctor shining a flashlight in your mouth without looking then handing you a toothbrush and saying see you next time. You technically went but you didn’t actually get what you were supposed to get out of it.

Im from harlem living in Barbados now. Best podcast I've ever watch. This is the neo of podcast. A more important conversation need to happen 1st. The root of this problem. If you reading this.. in the word's of my mentor(BRING YOUR WHOLE MIND). There's a difference between males n MEN? female's n WOMEN. if u know and understand the bible it's in there. The million dollar question. What is a MAN? male? WOMAN? Female? A MAN is the truth? He he does not lie, manipulate, device. A MAN always mentally respond he never emotionally reacts. Manhood is the centre and core of his existence. He is consistent, poised, focus etc. I always tell males, the bigger security for a female is not $. It's knowing you wont change under any circumstances. Male is the gender and MAN is a title you must earn and elevate to. So take this apply it to female's n women. I know alot of males with titles $ but there not MEN. to many people think they MEN n WOMEN when there not. So we have a 95% population of males n female's in relationships thinking their MEN m WOMEN n wonder y it don't work.

Women talking about being friends first makes sense in theory but zero sense in practice. Friends dont take each other out on dates and a man isn't taking his female friend out on a date, be expected to pay the bill, give her boyfriend treatment all while she's basicay left him in the friendzone to then say that they were friends from day one so he k ew what was up

Nice content bro. It trips me out, half the time ladies are saying "we come IN being a wife... We DO the wifey responsibilities... but it always turns out to be the wrong man." And the other half of the time the ladies are saying "oh no I'm not about to be a girlfriend, but at the same time doing wifey duties." I tend to agree with the latter.
