Exploring Mendenhall Glacier & Nugget Falls in Juneau, Alaska

We spent a day in Juneau, Alaska onboard #discoveryprincess in September of 2023. We booked the Mendenhall Glacier excursion thru the ship, which gave us about 2 hours to explore the Glacier & Nugget Falls.
The hike to Nugget Falls is fairly easy, about 1 mile each way, but we'll worth the payoff. The kids loved playing in the rock beach and we may have come home with a pocket full of those rocks!!
Juneau itself is very walkable, with a lot to see, eat, and shop for. If your kids need a toy store stop, visit Imagination Station for some fun toys.
