For all the diplomacy experience he has I wonder if Democracy is a word, he heard or learn after graduating from Columbia University. I attended Columbia University; He knows that this is a Republican takeover that is taking Texans rights away one at a time, and this is no difference in a blue city. Red counties are just as bad, but they are not being single out they get to keep their libraries. For what they don't read.
Respect, integrity, and civility are the core value of Columbia University the school holds some of the library important catalogue that help me study along the way how can he run a school district with no libraries. It's another political stun by Abbott that is ALL. Mr. Miles is just a political pawn who will fail because all of Abbott political stuns failed.
Mr. Miles has no idea what he got himself into.
Abbott is all about bullying not governor. They only reason he was reelected is because millions of blue votes in Houston where toss out in the last election, this was stated by Texas State Attorney Paxton who reveals what he did and now faces justice after years of dodging his crimes.

Wait, is he implying that there's something inherently wrong with the kids in HISD? Kids that earn degrees, proform better than their urban peers, make it to great universities.
Granted, there's like 250k students in HISD, not all of them are great students or people, but if he were to spend just a few weeks in the classroom, he'd realize that the vast majority are just fine.

Vote Blue to make our entire State worse. Makes perfect sense! Look at all the blue States and how ‘great’ their education systems are! I moved from the West Coast because the teachers unions run by the Democrats ruined the State and the public schools. Kids in WA State used to be a year or two ahead in math, reading and writing compared to other States like OR and CA. Now, WA State is even further behind grade level basics than all of the entire West Coast. Reading books in libraries are a MUST! I loved to read and of course we used to have required reading for every grade level and kids loved to read. It’s sad, because I moved away from a once red State, that is now mostly blue, back TO a red State for a reason, and now I hear let’s vote blue to make it better? 😢

Dallas ISD still uses Miles model of feeder pattern and division of power he established back on the date. The teacher’s pay system was advanced by Miles and Dallas ISD still uses it today, the district got shaken hard and well by this man but the lacklusters on payroll could not take it. They were too comfortable for years… 😂

If you’re talking about climate change, you’re saying teachers should not be talking about that? You don’t think the weather changing around the earth is important whether you want to call it climate change or just the world weather patterns changing? That’s not important at all, you don’t think it affects crops how people live where they live etc.? Please tell me you’re not one of these people that would say teachers have to stick to the subject, because then you clearly don’t know what goes in the teaching and it’s not just talking about math or science or history

Dallas ISD did not appreciate Miles. Miles left all the right systems in place in Dallas, but they could not appreciate him because Dallas educators were too comfortable at being losers. Give this man a chance. He was the reason I moved to teach in Dallas and he did right by kids not by lackslusters.

And if everyone in the district was a loser as you stated, how is it there are teachers at every school who are dtr? Or what about one of my friends in year 45, how did you last that long if he wasn’t an amazing teacher?
