Norwich have been relegated from the Premier League for a record sixth time. The Canaries' defeat to Aston Villa coupled with Burnley's victory at Watford means they'll be playing Championship football next season.

They're a club that accepts the status of yoyoing between the leagues. Not getting too ambitious and having it backfire. They run the club within its means. And let's be fair a lot of clubs would take that.

Think if Dean was in charge at the start of the season maybe they could have stayed up since they were woeful under Farke. Losing Idah to injury was a huge loss.

The prem is tough for them but the championship is easy ,they are in that grey area of football and i dont think they can change that without changing how they work as a club.Sad for their fans that they cant fight with the big boys but at the very least the club seems to be safe and far from any financial problems. Its like the Fulhan player (mitrovic or whatever his name is ) amazing in the EFL but trash in the Prem.
I dont think they should be strong in Championshio but 40m parachute makes them overpowered
Tbh their situation right now is way worse compared before when they were relegated, so it could be a tough mission to come back to epl next season.
But hopefully that's not the case, and they still won't break the chain loop..

football is cruel man, Dean smith gave us our club back, put us where we belong again, local lad, villa fan and we relegate him in his new job using one of his signings who is adored by Norwich fans to this day, hope they let him build a team for their inevitable return.

@@AK-kz8pe Basically norwich and Fulham consistently get promoted to the Premier league then immediately get relegated the next season, so now that norwich will be in the championship and Fulham will be in the prem, this guy is saying that they won't play each other again because Fulham will get relegated and norwich will get promoted, and the cycle will continue

This was inevitable as soon as the final whistle went in the championship in 20/21
There should be a playoff between the 19th and 18th placed teams in the PL and the 2nd and 3rd placed teams of the Championship imo to mitigate yo yo teams taking their turn in the Premiership, it'd make the Premier League competitive if we didn't have teams that only came up to give away 3 points to everybody else.
