Jimin said on SuchWita that before (during the training period) he didn't really want to be an idol, but after hearing Suga say that his team (BTS) really needed someone who had talent like Jimin and he wanted Jimin to become a member of BTS, Jimin became excited and Try hard to become a member of BTS😊

Suchwita became such a gem where members end up sharing more and more details on things than what we already know from their past. But actually he didn’t say he didn’t want to be an idol (he literally was a trainee to be an idol), he just didn’t know yet or have his sights yet on which team he would want to join. Not until Suga expressed that he thinks that he should be in their team because he has a good voice and their team doesn’t have one like it. It essentially sparked in him the goal/dream to really want to join their team. Thank goodness

Suga is one hell of a rapper. As a hip-hop head he's one of the best I've ever seen. His raw powerful lyrics, cadences, flows , delivery he's got it all he reminds me so much of a younger Eminem. SUGA created AgustD as a persona who reveals everything he's holding back, and everything which he cannot or is not supposed to reveal as SUGA due to stereotype guidelines n stuff hence he's shown all tied up in the beginning. He released AgustD on 15 August which is also their independence day, hence marking his freedom in a sense. Agust D followed by D2 which is Deachwita and concluding it with this D Day album where he killed AgustD in Haegeum. Ur absolutely write Daegu Town is a ghetto, basically the poorest city of South Korea and yeah he's absolutely flexing his roots saying i survived this messed up life coz i was born on the streets and this mess honey and that's the advantage i got against all yall fancy pancy peeps. He actually was supposed to just sign on with BigHit as just a producer and rapper at first, but BangPD coaxed him into being an idol and joining BTS. And Suga kills the rap game. But he is the main producer in BTS and helps produce many of their tracks. He & RM both do a lot of their own songs and vocal line songs. He also produces for other artists. And has been known to produce, compose and write many of his own works.

I had fun watching your reaction for my boy guys. You owned that mistake about him and that's what matter.
You have to react his GIVE IT TO ME it's like the squel of this also a banger and very aggressive song of him. But I highly recommend you also his DAECHWITA ( its part of his trilogh songs). It was his DAECHWITA that made me likes the rap genre which i totally wasnt interested before and also my introduction to Suga and BTS.
All the members are charming, special and multi- talented. But for some reason, one boy really got me so much attention and vdry curious of him since i listened his Daechwita and how his personality so different when he is in the group. I remember that boy most of the time quiet and chill only when you ask him or the other members wants him to engaged thats the only he interacted. But then another videos of him showing in vlive or waverse live talking to his fans and , some viewers pranking or commenting him i guess scaring him that there's a person behind him and Suga wothout hesitation savagely slammed the pranker by saying im not afraid , im not like others who right away get scared and whoever you are trying to scare or prank me, it's okay my agency will try to find you and will sue you.
Suga is chil and a lowkey guy look at that of all the members who is now in the military he is the only one that we got no updates about him after going in the military service its like he vanish in a thin air.
But my point is aside of him being a multi talented but his unique personality in some mysterious way really captivated me .He is like
an " Action Speak louder than words " kind of guy . Just like this disstrack , when he and RM was demeaned by B-free diring intetviews , i saw how Suga face even he was already keeping himself quiet after he answrred the interview but you can see the expression of his face and his jaw how he is already planning to get back this guys, and that AGUST D song born for the haters, no flowery words, no circling around but direct and straightforward. That's one of many reasons I love him and why he is my ultimate bias.

So in many ways this is a prelude to his trilogy which is Daechwita/Haegum/Amagydala. Here is at peak angry pissed off AgustD this is 2016 and he and RM had been taking 3 years of non stop shots from their ex friends in the underground community for selling out and being idols. Here is his response to all that. They had responded as a group in their Cyphers but AgustD had some very unfiltered things to say and prove still. He came out viscious and rabid. The whole first mixtape D1 is amazing lots of energy like this and he produced every track. Now note he's blond here, in Daechwita he has two characters he plays a greedy power hungry angry blond version of himself and to me that is old angry AgustD from this video.
There is a sequal to THIS video a short angry song called Give It To Me. Its more angry AgustD set in the same world as this one.
Now he still has huge versatility and he's written and produced ballads for BTS, others, and himself. He can do soft, cinematic etc but its always going to be intense and one of the most well produced songs you've heard. BTS is as much him as it is RM especially their early music. They put themselves into every track so you cant separate BTS from Suga and not the ones he produces (which in many BTS songs he sneaks in a soft whispered "Suga" on the songs he produces as a signature).

Fastest clocked (again, *on average*) was just a bit over 200 syllables.
He's freakin' amazing. Definitely not the "fastest rapper in the world", BUT, he is in the Top 10 for number of words and in the Top 5 for speed, as word count and syllable count are two very different records.

Something that's really crazy is that he can rap slow or also fast while alternating between Korean and English sometimes in the middle of the same bar. That takes a special level of skill all on its own. I don't think there's a Western rap artist that can do that.

SUGA FROM DAEGU= Agust-D. Daegu is a city where Yoongi was born and grew up. His family was poor. Agust-D was his alter through which he communicated his pain and frustration. He is also able to read them for filth and talk his ish. BTS’ Suga is different and separate.
Through Agust D he has healed himself. DDay the third album is his finale .
It’s possible we won’t hear from Agust-D again. 10 years, Suga is in his 30’s. He has worked through his issues of insecurity, social anxiety, his anger and most of all his pain. He is no longer in that head space.

The is is before the trilogy. The first mv in the trilogy is Daechwita. (Where the king is blond)
This actually isn't a part of the trio, it was released in 2016- you can see this as more of Agust D's debut. The trio with connected visuals in the MVs; Daechwita (D-2, 2020), Haegum (D-Day, 2023) which you watched, and Amygdala (D-Day, 2023).
As you mentioned, Dt suga, D is for Daegu the place he's from. Dt is for "D-Town/Daegu Town" an underground rap group he was a part of previous to BTS.

The MV is a diss towards his haters in general but in particular a Korean rapper named B-Free. The guy attacked BTS rappers Suga and RM for being sell outs (they both started out as underground rappers), using makeup like women and being an embarrassment to "real rappers." Idol rappers had no business calling themselves rappers. There was a radio talk show where Free was on with RM and Suga as well as Hit Man Bang, the head of their company Big Hit (now Hybe) and he just unleashed on them - but since it was so early in their career Bang was the one that defended them.

This is different genre from KPOP known as K-HIPHOP/RAP which obviously more unfiltered than majority of Kpop itself, this was his Aug 2016 SOLO self-titled mixtape with title MV with same name. *The song was toward the people he considered friends (fakers) and so-called underground rappers that kept DISSing and Harassing him & RM for making the right decision to leave the underground rap scene because if they had stayed BTS wouldn’t be here and the two of them would’ve ended up as arrogant self-absorbed individuals not going anywhere with their lives. When the opportunity presented itself they chose to make their lives better and go where the money is in order to provide for themselves and their families.*
