I started playing during the DS era, but I can see a lot of what made me fall in love with the series in this game! Maybe I should go back to play this one too.
There’s the infamous Karen/Dog glitch, where you can show your dog to her and build your relationship by 1 xp, with no cap. Try in the Bar for maximum effect. Note: it works in the original game, but sometimes not in the Switch remake. I will go on record as saying HM64 was THE best farming sim game until Stardew Valley. Friends of Mineral Town is alright, it’s just that it offers nothing beyond what 64 does, and the timing was about the same.

I have! I enjoy it too and would like to talk about it, but it's also very long and slow paced, so it might be a while before that happens.
