Thanks for the video Mick, I was just looking at these this morning, guess I better get one. 🙂👍 Big Dog's a great guy, good channel and has about 135,000 tools. 🤣
The best way to do this is to use the float needle in the grinding paste then use a small pit of pipe to spin the float needle. That way the float needle will be seated perfectly.

Bit of a different question mate same sort of pressure testing but for cylinders I couldn’t work out why my readings was always low on compression 40 psi with what felt like good compression but after watching Steve saloon on you tube his latest video And seeing that there is two types of cylinder pressure testers Have you done a video on the system that you use for pressure testing? Can’t seem to find it on your playlist. Have you got a link to the kit that you use? Understanding? It needs this valve to make a accurate test
@@nathanlewis9737 I have seen the video.. and don't agree with everything he's said... However.. getting one with a valve is a good idea.. and also one with a short hose.. I will try and find a link...

@@Sharrisatlasgym I would agree apart from the end of this needle is rubber... It works great when it's all metal...
@ I do it with the rubber topped needles too it gets them seated perfectly.
Happy new year
@CharlesDoogan same to you mate
I recognise that hand writing 🤣
Lol... Yeah.. from a good friend of mine
LOOK AT THE NEEDLE, se if there's a wear ridge around it!
@@alro2434 good tip... But the seat is what normally gives the issue..
