This is a LCW video and LD fans should stop spoiling it.
Yes, no doubt LD is the more successful player - both head to head and record in top tier tournaments.
However, it all depends on a lot of factors - LD is left handed, he has better training facilities and partners in China.
LD also trains at home & watches LCW videos at home when LCW is playing tournaments. This way LD gets an advantage when LCW gets tired.

Lin Dan is not so complex playes as Lee, but when they meet face to face, Lin Dan is usually leaving as a winner. I admire them both!

According to the history of matchs between 2 players, LD wins more than LCW ! but LCW is no.1 in my heart, LD cant give me the emotional momment like LCW !

If you want to see the world's best attacking player, watch Lin Dan. If you want to see what the world's best defense looks like, go check out this dude. Of course, LD's defense is incredible as well, and LCW's attacks can be unbelievably fierce. Both are gods, both define today's badminton. I understand the need to choose, but thank god we don't have to.

As world compian is coming, we'll see who is the best, ChongWei or Lin Dan, in the men's simgle final. I wish ChongWei can be the fourth gold winner of World Compian, but he has to beat three former gold winners in his way. What a huge struggle.

I suspect LD was held back from playing further by the Chinese national team in order to give the other youngsters like Chen Long and Du Pengyu more chance to play in international events. They are being trained up for future big events like the world championships and the Olympics in Rio.

Lee Chong Wei can be the number one right now but Lin Dan is the best badminton player ever and thats a fact.
For those who always compare and argue who is the better player between LCW and LD. Listen please. LD may be slightly better than LCW but that doesn't mean a doggone thing. Both players are playing at a higher level than the rest of the packs. LCW CAN and WILL still beat the crap out of most players in the world today. In this game, besides stamina, skills is also very important and both players have their traits in the attacking and the defensive aspects of the game.

he is a hardworking and a magnificent player
not to mention lin dan is lefthanded.. since most of player are righthanded, lin dan gain more experience dealing with righthanded player, plus china also got bou chunlai which is also lefty as lin dan sparring partner(china flood with star!).. for right handed player, is quite difficult to play with the lefty (ie: LCW vs LD).. and also the shuttle comes off the racket different for a lefty due to the feathers.. and of course malaysia doesn't have quality player for lcw sparring partner

I'm a beginner, I feel that I shouldn't be buying an expensice racquet yet - so what you you think I should be getting? There are a couple on Amazon, are they all completely the wrong choice, or is £20 - £40 alright for me?

hey guys, Lin Dan is indeed a great player and probably superior to LCW, but please remember that Lin Dan has plenty of chances to train with other world-class players (China is full of them) whereas LCW doesn't have any compatriots anywhere near his standard to train with.. Do not disregard his victories that easily. :)
