- Two words ! Peter Gade ! In the badminton he got a legend, and he is a legend since I know badminton. He got world number one in 1998. He won the All England Championships in 1999 and he is still playing in the top 5 of the world. The best danish and european player ever maybe. He got the invitation to the 4 kings tournament this year and played together with Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan and Taufik Hidayat. Over 15 years in the top of the world, and well known for his great passion, amazing fighting spirit, incredible technique, and absolutely best tactics, the know most expierenced player in men singles, will go all out next year at the 2012 London Olympics, a last time, Golden Gade will play, a last time Peter will go on court and do his best do get the most decorated title possible. Absolutely the most famous trickshot player ever helding a badminton racket.... Good Luck Peter and HAPPY BIRTHDAY :) Highest respect, and biggest adorement !
I watched Peter Gade's videos on RUclips for almost 5 hours, learnig his style,,, trying to improve my badminton skill! For me, he truely is a legend.
One of the legendary players and my one of my all time favorites~ thanx Pete for all the great games you've presented to us!! It'd be great if he could get into coaching and help producing more great European players in the future.

If Lin dan is the master of badminton, and cheng wei is the Godfather of badminton, then Peter Gade is the GOD of Badminton!
you cant say he's bad. This season you cannot deny he has been so much more consistent understandable a few cold moments bet he hit 6th in the world although hes at 8 now you can't say hes bad when on average this season hes been quarters and up.
ohh and Denmark's no1 player right now so don't be that negative

½ year ago I witnessed Jan getting his sorry ass WIPED FROM THE FLOOR by Anand Pawar from Aarhus AB (Denmark) - we´re talking 21-15; 21-12 here!
Jon Jorgensen acted like a 5-year old spoiled kid, who is used to getting his will all the time and not able to accept the fact that he lost the game (and lost it BIG TIME!). Constantly whining and complaining, almost throwing his racket at the audince.
