First Everything...Pt. 3/3 {Jelena One-Shot} [EmAliceBlizzard Stars Dance Writing Contest]

Once she was eight months pregnant, she started getting sick from her cancer again. She was in the hospital. "Justin" she said as I was standing by the window looking out. "Hm?" I say coming to her bedside. "It hurts" she says. "What?" I ask looking over her body. "My stomach I have really bad cramps" she says and I nod, pressing the call nurse button for her. The nurse comes in, and soon Sel is in labor. They wanted to give her a C section, but she refused.
Mackenzie was soon born, and it was one of the happiest moments of mine and Sel's life. "Isn't she beautiful?" Sel asks smiling, and I nod. "She's very beautiful, like you" I say giving her a kiss. "Her name Justin, we never decided completely, Jessica Rose, or Mackenzie Drew?" she asks. "On the count of three say what you think she looks more like" I say and smile, that's how we come to agreements quickly. "Okay" she nods. "One two three!" I say. "Mackenzie" we both say, and that's how her name was chosen.
Five days later, Sel wasn't doing good at all, and the doctors said she wasn't either. I sat in the room holding Mackenzie in my arms, and Sel's hand in my other hand. "Sel, baby" I say my voice shaky, I know I don't have much longer, and my heart is breaking. "Justin" she says quietly, and I smile. "Let me see her" she says, and I lay Mackenzie next to her, she runs her finger on her cheek, and hands, then kissing her cheek. "Justin, I wrote her a letter, for when she turns eighteen, okay?" she chokes on tears, and this is when I start crying, she's saying goodbye.
"Okay" I say shakily. "Justin, please don't be upset, I love you so much, you changed my life so much, for the better, you showed me what love was, and you gave me a beautiful daughter..." she trails off. "I love you so much, and I know this hurts, and I will always look down on you, but don't let this not let you move on, you have to... You are very strong, and I know this will be so hard, but you can do it, you can take care of Mackenzie well, I know you can, she will learn, and grow, and so will you Justin..." she says, taking in a lot of breaths. "Sel..." I say, and she shushes me. "Give me a kiss" she says, and I kiss her with so much passion and love, I don't want her to leave, I pull apart, and she wiped some tears. "I am gonna go to sleep Justin" she says and I nod caressing her cheek, and holding it in my hand. "I love you" I say to her one last time, and I scoop up Mackenzie, and hold Selena's hand with my available hand. She closes her eyes, and before I know it her machine goes blank, and beeps. I call in the nurses, shes gone, I have never cried so hard in my life.
Planning her funeral was the worst for me. At her funeral I sang, I sang the song I wrote for her, known as Fall, which I plan to have on my album later next year. Then I talked. "Sel started out with a wish, she wished to meet me, and I met her, little did I know walking into that hospital room, my life would change forever, and that I would fall in love... Selena was the best thing that ever happened to me. I had a love for her, that I have never had for anyone else, and she meant the world to me, she was my world.
"We taught each other how to love, and we made a beautiful baby girl together, which was a big miracle. Sel was not supposed to have kids, because chemo messed that up, but for some reason, God made an exception, and left a piece of her on this earth with me. Mackenzie will never know her mommy, but I will make sure she knows, all about her mom when she's old enough."
"Sel, wasn't supposed to go... the cancer was supposed to be gone... Sel got sick again while pregnant, and chose to continue with her pregnancy instead of do more chemo. She was very brave, and the first love of my life, and my first heartbreak, and she will be missed very much. I love you Sel"
