Signature voice. Signature guitarist. There just is no other!! We dropped into your Mississauga gig in April 2015 and my daughter had let your team know we were coming (from London . . . not the one down the road, the UK version). Like the gent you are, you welcomed us at the end of your first number and had us backstage afterwards to meet you and the guys. We cherish the photos!! In 1978 my bandwere plugged into MWB and attempted "Lip Service" and "Astonish Me". I'm sure we did them little justice as 1. they ain't easy songs and 2. we didn't sound anything like MWB. However, the sense of satisfaction pulling off those songs to an audience at the "Imperial", in Robin Hood's own home town, was pretty special. It set me on a path of appreciation for a truly unique composer, player, vocalist and all-round good guy. Love the new CD - Thanks Kim.
I love your music, Kim. I am over 50 and have been with you since grade eight-no one 'rocks out' like our Canadian KM. Just listen to the best recorded and sounding drums and lead guitar ever possible in a rock tune - anywhere in the whole music industry. And yes, your production is always brimming with that Georgian Bay 'airiness' - which is part of the KM trademark. God Bless you for all that you bring. -Thank you.
Mr Mitchell U helped me and others with ur great showmanship and great guitar playing. Dear friend you will always be my Canadian Artist who moved me and touched me. Good to see you back Kim, and what a great album it is! I was wondering if you would do a video demonstrating how you play the opening guitar parts for ‘the best I never had’ which just may ‘the best you ever wrote’ , just a wonderfully powerful song, beautiful, well done, hopefully you can manage to put a quick video up, peace bro👍
Oh man! How did I survive 51 years without having any notice of your work? Absolutely amazing! Oh, wait! I was accidentally born in Brazil, but I'm Canadian by heart, love everything from there, even the cold weather, lol! Can't wait to go to one of your concerts... All the best!
Hey Kim just wanted to say I stumbled across the new tunes on Spotify and while it is different than I expected....I loved it. You are a Canadian classic rock icon, and love your music. You probably felt the passing of EVH as deeply as the rest of us did....and with that I am glad to hear new music still coming from the greats like yourself. Keeping positivity, reflection and music flowing. Don't ever stop 😎🤘😎
Awesome music Kim ..thanks for the insight on all of your Songs, very cool to know what the Songs are about! Never met in person but, I have seen you in the Vancouver more times than I have fingers. Thank you for all of the great memories ..your Music was, and is, the Soundtrack to my Life, so many killer Songs, including your Ballads ..love em' all. I feel like you're my family! Wonderful album bro. Saw you in Boston in 1987? when we were both around 35 (Some club by Fenway and cannot remember). Funny how times, our age and lives change our outlook. Keep up the great writing and hopefully we'll see you again soon once the world opens up... peace
Never been to the old pavilions on Georgian Bay. I grew up on the Lake Huron side. We had an old wooden pavilion at Sauble beach. Went to some dances there, as well l as movies. Hadn't thought of that in years. Saw you with Webster at the Harbour Inn a few times. Saw you in Sauble Beach at the old Starlight Rink with Coney Hatch. You were promoting the release of your first solo EP. Lover the tune The Best I never head. Lots of memories stirred up with it. Thanks for the music, Kim. Keep Rocking Dude. Gonna go for a soda now.
Got the album on release day...and I’m so glad I did!! Every tune is a masterpiece. I have been a huge Kim Mitchell fan since 1976, and these are my new favorite songs. Congratulations Kim...the world is so much better off with your new wonderful work in it!! Thank you.
Thanx Kim! Waking up in Italy listening to your release vlog. Gives so many positive vibes for today. Later i order your vinyl. Just wanna say , you are such an inspiration and everybody knowing in person must be a happy one. Love.
Good morning from Arizona, Kim. I've been following you since the first 'Max' album, and what a lovely surprise to stumble upon your new album. Thank you for the music - wishing you good health, much happiness, and continued prosperity.
Love you and love your music, Kim. Thank you for always rocking my socks off, lol. Been a fan, since 1985ish, and have seen you many, many times in Buffalo 🇺🇲 and Southern Ontario 🇨🇦 areas. Looking forward to catching you, somewhere, in 2021.🤞 Be well, yourself. 💞
seen kim mitch in buffalo at stage one think it was 1984 didnt have money for a ticket so i got there around 5 pm and helped the crew unload they put me to work in fact the lighting guy told me to go stand on stage to focus the spotlights because i was same height 6`1 as kim the light guy was french canadian think his name was piare so got in got to drink free beer and hang with the crew and see the show all for nuthing because i was broke i hope kim reads this comment i think he would be amused.
Thanks so much Kim. I am so overjoyed to get to listen to new music from one of my favourite artists growing up. So many wild memories with my friends with your music in the background. The concerts at Maple Leaf Gardens and riding the T.T.C (Rocket) to Sam The Record Man to get the latest Max Webster album on the day of release. The music continued with your solo albums and were sweet interludes in the backdrop of my adulthood. Thank you for all the great music that helped me experience and endure growing up. I salute you.
When I lived in Stayner, Ontario, I'd see Kim at Mac's Milk or Tony's Iron Skillet in Collingwood. Of course, I wouldn't bug him. After all... he's the same as you and I... Canadian. Thank you Kim for sharing your gift with us all. \m/
Used to be a guy. on the radio that did a segment called "I wish I had written that" Well the song Best I Never had is one of those songs. The whole album is great. Your too humble Kim. A musicians musician and a unique great guitar player.
The entire record is so good - just be aware if you're stateside and you buy it via itunes you don't get the bonus live tracks. My two cents. Wells production is insane, it literally sounded like Kim was in the backseat of my car with an acoustic guitar on the first tune "Red Horizon". Terrific!
You are the best, Kim. An awesome, humble, human being, AND a guitar hero! And together with a voice that soars, seems to always be able to cheer me up (and rock me) pretty much more than _anybody_ else.
Canadian rock legend Kim Mitchell - thank you for still making music we need it more than ever , the record is incredible your voice is still solid! cheers my friend !
Kim, not sure if you remember who I am, I'm always the blonde or ginger dude front row to every show you did in Winnipeg, you signed my max webster albums 10 years ago, was there at Regent 10 years later when you said it's gonna be the roarin 20s, and it sure has been.
Really love what you did here. The Dard! I met you at the Music Shop in Thornhill many years ago when you were driving a well worn blue van. You picked up a 339 (I think) and let her rip. You are the only one I ever saw in that store that really let go and it was OK. I was playing the line for Message in a bottle on a 5 string fretless bass and you sat down beside me and said "pretty abstract". I also saw you "out and about" when I lived on Riverdale Ave. Hope you are well. All the best, this album sounds terrific. I'm gonna get the record and some merch. Hope you can send to the US. Best Rob
Grow some hair back Kim. You're an eternal rocker, not an old man. Then go make another ass kicking rock n roll album before it's too late. Are you gonna burn out, or fade away? God bless you. You're a living legend.

Thx man
