Also how frequently do you have to change the filter?

We haven't had to change it yet. I think on their website they say 3-6 months, but that also depends on how much you filter

I’ve heard this pitcher has problems with leaking! Have you had any problems with that?

I am very unsatisfied with this unit. I've been through 5 of 6 filters and they all slow down after max 10 gallons of water. I have New York Finger Lakes water. My building isn't that old and the water from my tap is fine on its own. These filters just don't last and I cannot recommend more to get something else. A pro-tip from me to you is to remove the filter once it stops flowing and bang it on the inside of your sink until you can hear the filter media shaking around inside the unit...this will give you some more time before you need to change it....unless you bang to hard and break it. Best of luck if you did buy one!

I've had previous problems where this filter is extremely slow, where it takes over 4 hours to filter the entire top section. So I've soaked it for 9 hours, then flushed it with the blue circular thing for 3 minutes, paper towel dry, air dry and finally reassembled it and still the same problem. What is the solution?

I didn't have an issue with it taking that long, but it did take longer than our other filter. I'm assuming that it is doing a better job of filtering the water.

Takes my clearly filtered about 15 min… not sure what you are sayying is possible

@@GUDDAisHere I live in an area where my faucet water is very clean. I'm very surprised that my clearly filtered water takes almost half a day!
