Sir in pizillo method the patient is pushing head against hands placed on occiput ,show it is like neck extension against resistance which show make deep cervical fascia taut anteriorly and make thyroid swelling less prominent?

at 49:25 when we ask the patient to extend the neck against resistance, it becomes more prominent?? Or is it like when we ask the patient to just simply extend it bcm more prominent it due to cervical lordosis.
To find plane of swelling
Extension or flexsion if swelling becomes more prominent its in deep fascia else in superficial plane

at 49:25 when we ask the patient to extend the neck against resistance, it becomes more prominent?? Or is it like when we ask the patient to just simply extend it bcm more prominent it due to cervical lordosis.
We are just telling the patient to extend their neck & so the swelling becomes prominent - ( cervical lordosis which pushes the thyroid gland anteriorly)
So on just extending, swelling becomes more prominent and on contraction, it becomes less prominent right?
Extending the neck means making it prominent due to the cervical lordosis. Nothing to do with the contraction.
