【Synopsis】In ancient times, humans mixed with deities and demons, the world consisted of Shennong, Xuanyuan and Gaoxin. Wandering in Dahuang, Jiu Yao from Gaoxin lost her identity and appearance. She settled in Qingshui Town and renamed as Wen Xiaoliu. The Prince Qiang Xuan of Xuanyuan was Xiaoliu’s cousin. To find Xiaoliu, he travelled around Dahuang and came to Qingshui Town. In Qingshui Town, Xiaoliu saved Tushan Jing in danger and fell in love with him. Xiang Liu and Xiaoliu appreciated each other and became confidants. After a few twists and turns, Qiang Xuan and Xiaoliu eventually recognized each other. After recovering her identity, Xiaoliu helped Qiang Xuan bring the whole world under his rule and retired from the rivers and lakes. The thoughtless man puts all his energy into governing the country, because he knows that as long as the world is at peace, his little boy will be able to be happy and healthy.

A tragic romance. His Bai personality was so different from his heartless Xiang Liu character. Evenso, I wish the writers had made he and Xiaoliu (Jiu Yao) a couple and not that selfish Lord with no backbone. I loved that haunting song they played when XL showed up alone or with her. Loved this fantasy drama. It was fun and funny in parts. I became a fan of Tan Jian Ci and Yang Zi after watching, "Lost You Forever".

孤獨，冷酷又孑然一身的相柳卻有著一顆忠肝義膽和熱烈地愛著小夭的心是多麼可貴可愛！檀健次通過他出色的眼神戲和肢體動作完美塑造相柳~~句句不說愛但處處都是愛！极贊💖👑👏！我沒有看過原著但劇集第一季有看完夭柳部份也重看了兩遍。開始小夭和相柳好像互有意向，但很快殺出個璟然後小夭好像移情了，但其實她是掩飾吧！因為她惧“九頭妖”，後來恢復身份因為立場對立更不可能她那麼愛她的玹哥哥。中間我也以為小夭愛璟，是去到第34集相柳找小夭小夭背對他想起“相柳沒有白白救你...”時眼泛淚光，我覺得小夭對相柳的愛是藏得很深！還有相柳回清水鎮向小夭告別一幕，小夭希望他一直是防風邶（不只一次,其實這也是表白只是說得比較隱晦），然後是望著他離去那依依不舍的眼神都是証明！至於與其說相柳是為愛成全我更覺得他是想小夭得到最好的！他覺得自己背付太多責任太大,他不想成全那是他用心頭血救回來的心上人但他沒得選擇（相柳很慘的😢）！但沒有相柳的人間對小夭也是一種折磨啊！那是無盡的思念！❤️❤️❤️

Their chemistry is very astounding that no matter HOW MUCH THEY DENY THEIR FEELINGS, it is still very apparent to see. . XIAOYAO ACTS MORE NATURALLY WITH XIANGLIU, she could be angry, playful and sweet towards him. AND XIANGLIU, HAAYST.... THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER MAKE MY HEART ACHE... LOVE SO MYSTERIOUS INDEED THAT EVEN A DEMON COULD FEEL IT.
It is true that demon will change into natural human but he doesn't seems to other people that he is nine headed demon king xiong liu, he always fell in love with xiaoyao, there chemistry will started to donate blood and slowly slowly knowing each other and love at first sight, but princess so careless and attitude to see that why is she doing some heartbroken to nine headed demon xiong liu she doesn't know how much he loves her? This is the most interesting thing to be seems in season 2 she will finally knowing that xiong liu loves her and they will marry soon

Season 2 is the epitome of heartbreak 💔 😢 Xiang Liu sacrificed the most for her. Because he was not raised in love & only got to experience a mother's love for a short time. What he learned was given to her.

XL very well knows XY was serious when she agreed to leave with him only if he does the same. That stubborn 9 headed demon! If it's not for him, that small rebel army would have been squashed like bugs by Xuans long ago, not to mention financial problems. They don't have any resources..XL's part-time job as assassin is their resource... He did enough for them. Why just once can't he fulfil his own wish!
Writers like to yank the emotional chains of their captive audience.... They certainly picked the right guy to play the part of Xiang Liu.....That guy exudes a charisma easily felt across the waves.....quite a talent.
@tinamincheski2195 ys, it's a common strategy I see in c dramas, where the second leads are epitome of altruism, a pitiful character. What is different here is xiao yao actually did fall for xiang liu, but he didn't choose her, but his stupid Gen and his foolish dreams. Based on his intelligence, he should have known that this mission is doomed. Why is he still insisted on it..i can't understand. He already done enough to repay the debt. If you see, he managed to take chengrong peak. Without him acquiring the medicine and financial supply, the small troupe of army should have been parished long ago. Why did he fight with Xuan.. is beyond me!

Only xiao yao looked at him as a person, as a human who deserves to be loved and cared for. That made him grow a human heart, which he willingly gave to her.. because only she, in his 9 lives, deserves his heart.

I usually don't like these long series but this is quite good. Xiaoyao and Xian Liu should end up together. They are the best couple in this series. I hope that they don't make season 2 into the usual boring concept though. 🤞🙏🤲
