Faker carried SKT to the finals last year by himself lol. They beat Uzi and RNG even though bang was playing much worse than Uzi. And Faker won MSI twice and barely lost one time 3-2 to EDG in one of the finals. Overall, he's won 2 MSi's, 6 LCK splits, and 3 world championships, along with 1 worlds finals appearance. Uzi has only won MSI and 1 spring LPL split, as well as a worlds final appearance. The first year Faker won worlds his teammates were Piglet, impact, Bengi, PoohManDu and some of those players ended up being either retiring, being fired and having to leave the region. For this meta it is very difficult for midlane to carry so Faker can't carry his teammates.. But he is without a doubt, the greatest of all time. If Uzi can win worlds this year, he can close the gap and give himself a little bit of hope.

2020-06-03: UZI decided to retire because of type 2 diabetes. He got the diagnosis back in last year with an A1C value of 11% (normal value shoud be less than 6.5). For the next half year he tried changing his lifestyle and taking medications but showed no sign of improvements. Moreover, the medicines have been affecting his mental state. Along with his wrist injury, he won't be able to play competitively anymore. Goodbye, and good luck, uzi.
