Another fantastic film thank you Rory, the footage from the top is stunning, it’s the best I have ever seen.
It was great to be able to see back to the WHW from the top of Ben Nevis, fantastic thank you for filming and well done. 🍻🍻👍👍👍🍻🍻

Thank you for following up with this after your WHW video. I definitely want to do Ben Nevis after finishing the hike this September and this was very inspiring and helpful. I’ve watched a lot of people doing the WHW recently but nobody seems to do Ben Nevis afterwards which is strange because it’s the part I’m most looking forward to!

Glad it was helpful! Doing Ben Nevis is the perfect way to send the WHW. I would highly recommend stating very early and making your way up to the summit when it’s quiet. Of course, always check the weather and be safe. September will be a great month to do it! Good luck

I just got home from climbing Ben Nevis yesterday it was an amazing experience. The scenery was outstanding, the people of fort William were lovely. My only advice is to set out early. We left it a little late and got caught in the rain and the pitch blackness coming down. Stay safe folks 😊

Yep and this was right at the end of April so it’s crazy how much is there. I remembered there was a huge cairn at the top and steps leading up to it, but it wasn’t until I googled the trig point pics when I saw just how deep the snow was!! I can’t imagine that disappearing anytime soon

I did it in the last week of April..which is a great time to do it. I would say April/May is the best time, or something like September October. Summer would be fine if you're using hotels etc.. but not wild camping because of the midges (like mosquitos).

Good luck with the West Highland Way! I’d say just making sure that your feet and your footwear are compatible. Practise long flat walks without taking a break, just consistent walking without stopping for a hours. This will highlight if your going to get aches pains or blisters in the feet and if you need different footwear. Good footwear and socks are way more important than fitness in my opinion.
