Nick and Adam are the best because they're self loathing and grounded. they hate their own success and the money they earn still leaves them feeling broke because New York is hell. they score huge guests but remain in nothing-to-lose mode, which is an infinitely more relatable demeanor than the phony clout goblin energy on many of the bigger pods

Maybe I’m naive but I think that may have been only 25% a bit if at all, I think steveo was just in nyc doing a podcast media tour and this was like a last minute tag on, believe or not they prob do have some production value and forethought into the interview segment, and just thought it would be easier funnier if it was Adam and Nick just low effort prodding at him

Yup, Steve-O will relentlessly try to recruit anyone he knows drinks/uses drugs into his AA cult, thinking he knows better for someone else than their own damn self. And if they don't agree, he wants the state to come in and demand they get sober lest they be imprisoned, using a conservatorship - as can be seen through his take on the Bam situation. It's quite hypocritical and annoying to listen to.
He's so fucking boring! Everytime someone mentions weed or cigarettes or coffee Steve O is there to tell them they should be totally sober and start a podcast about it. 🙄

I saw Steve-O did another podcast like the day after this (perhaps Chris Distefano) and he thanks them for not cutting him off while he's talking right near the start of the podcast. This was so funny and uncomfortable. Nick or Adam or both cut off Steve-O almost immediately every time spoke. It was a little rude and mean, but worth it for the funny.
Yeah I mean they did lol but he deserved it, he literally does it to every one of his guests and the podcast turns into steve o repeating his retarded stories for 45 mins out of the hour.

There was a timeline divergence in which Steve-O was supposed to die in a heroic drug binge or during a hilarious stunt and by doing an intervention on him and forcing him into this skinsuit of sobriety so he could hawk dick pills and his shitty “comedy” dvd we have been doomed to shoulder this dire burden.

Haven’t watched the episode but clearly Steve-O didn’t know of Nick/Adam at all or even care to know them, before saying yes to his agent, as always.
