When he crashed and burned, he took others down with him-his fellow soldiers, his family, and his country. How can one person do so much damage? And what should be done when we find ourselves in the fallout of failure (our own or others’)? Moreover, can there ever be a bright future for those experiencing such dim circumstances?

Very few Pastors know what you know. It begins when the Holy Spirit brings revelation to this passage of scripture. The church is dying because of hidden sin. I am one among many who do this to the church until I am completely broken to pieces before the Lord. You are right. 36 people died on the account of one mans sin. Wives as widows and children without a Father. The Holy Spirit spoke to me one day when I was casually reading scriptures. He said, "This is you in the church". Then immediately, it began to unfold. People struggling with health issues, marriages being broken, people faced in poverty, etc. All because of my hidden sin. Some pastors say I have mislooked the scriptures of Joshua 7. I told them the Holy Spirit told me this. It was not something I created to myself.
Then the Holy Spirit gave me a vivid TRUE STORY of my life of my fishing trip in 2002. Three people who I did not know were on the boat and the captain clearly stated, "No contraband on the boat." They brought it in anyways. It wasn't until 24 hours later, the captain saw the contraband and was LIVID. "I could have lost my boat, you could have lost your gear and the fish and we would have been thrown in jail." Although I was not the culprit to bringing contraband on the boat, someone elses mistake would have sent me to jail regardless if I had done anything wrong.
The Holy Spirit reminds me that I can literally destroy the church because of my hidden sin but it also means someone in the church can destroy me because of their sin. There is more to this message and it is deeply expressing True Repentance and a time to heal. It is no wonder why the church is hurting today and not being healed. James 5:16
