misteranthrope she has a ‘mall’ in the basement of the house, it’s more like a small street, pictures are online its kinda insane
She collects a lot of stuff, so she decided to create a street full of stores of the stuff she collects and calls it “The Mall”. And it is a real street but it is underground. She even published a coffee table book of photos of the remodeling of that house.
So cool would love to see that - hey if you’re Barbra Streisand you can have anything you want

DON'T shave! He's never looked hotter! (Of course, it's a matter of personal opinion, I know.) He looks good clean-shaven though, too, of course.
Barbara Streisand's wealth kind of confuses me. She was really popular, but it was back when artist didn't make the millions and millions and millions that they've made as of late. She was in some movies for which she probably still receives royalties when they air, etc. But they are old so it couldn't be a significant revenue stream. lol. I believe she released new music recently, but it's hard to imagine her music sells the same today as it did back then. She must be really smart with her money...hence the mall under her house. lol.
justmemadison lol you are kidding. Barbara has had over 100 million albums sold world wide. She been in around 20movies. She produces. Her net worth is around 400 million. She is a legend in the industry and still sells out any shows she does.
Streisand is the biggest selling female recording artist (at a time when sales were not digitally counted). She also always had total artistic control of her work (which was unheard of for a woman at the time). Her recording contracts always stated that she had to make $1 more than the highest paid recording artist on her label. She started the trend of artists getting paid $1000+ a ticket or more for concerts. She also owns her catalogue. She is a very smart business person. Her art collection alone is worth huge amounts of money. People don't give her enough credit for being such a powerful figure who paved the way for women and broke all the rules.
Those older singers are loaded because the audience actually had to pay money for the music!! Streisand was even around before cassette tapes! So you couldn't even copy a friends Streisand tape. You had to go out and spend money to buy her music.
Modern artists maybe have millions of "views" on RUclips...but it's all free! No-one in the music industry now makes any money because young kids don't buy music! They just stream it for free or download illegally. Someone like Miley Cyrus may have a million youtube views...but i guarantee only 1% of those viewers actually paid money to purchase the song. The older musicians lived during the best time to profit off their songs...
I believe she is just a smart person, hence her enormous wealth. Also, she is unique.
She was paid 10 Million Dollars for a 3 hour performance at The MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas back in the late 90's....I was there. amazing!
