Attempting a DIY campervan build (It's harder than we thought)

- This van conversion has had us saying "What's that thing" consistently. But we're definitely learning as we go.
In this video, we list DIY jobs we can do in the van without help. Things like Painting, removing some extra bits from inside, and coming up with our campervan layout plan.
This is (hopefully) our last video relating to destruction and taking things out. In the next video, we hope to buy our electrical system and put things back in!

What do you think about the layout plan? Have we forgotten anything? 🚌‼
Great update! You two will prevail and tour for years in your custom van. Phase two: adding the escalator and upper pool deck!😎
Hahah those are some great additions I think we should add!
Loving this process, great learning, thought processes and family assist for the win. Helps that you have pretty awesome parents x
Really does! ❤️❤️
Yay, Juju!! Yay, Toto!! Mum and Dads are the best. ❤❤❤
They are!! ❤️❤️
You are doing so great 👍🏻 keep up the good work. Looking foreward to next episode of pimp my van 😘
Hahahaha pimp my van made me laugh more than it should’ve 😂😂👌
You would be surprised how much food you can fit in a small fridge, how little you need a freezer and how much doesn't actually need to be stored in a fridge. We have gone 3+ weeks on the road with our little chest fridge without any issues. Without the freezer you also don't have drainage issues.
This is the debate we're having!
Emily wants a freezer for frozen berries so we can make smoothies but I don't think it's worth it!! Glad your on my side 😄
Left field question. Are you taking your pooch on "the lap"??
I watch a few Vanlife folks, and they ALL have dogs. Seems compulsory!
Great video as always!
We’ve considered it but wouldn’t be very comfortable for him! Might take him on some shorter trips where we know we will only be going dog friendly places though 🤔
The only issue with the kitchen area is getting to and from the cab of the van to the living area. You may want to lower the center part of the counter to allow a space to walk through.
YES!! Great point - we for sure want to be able to hop over it to move from the cab to the back when its raining etc so will need to make sure its low enough for that!
Added to our list!! Thank you so much ❤️
Its like the Bangbus 😜
🤔🤔
You are also going to need a small (since no shower/toilet) grey water storage for the sink/fridge. also another reason to put the sink and fridge close to each other. Looking great soo far :)
Oh! Will have to look into this! We for sure thought we could just have a drainage hole for the fridge because it’s just water that’d be dripping onto the road/whereever
🚑
This is so kind of you - thank you so much 🥰❤️
