And that's why I label all my AC Adapters so that can't happen. SEGA Master System is another one that gets nuked a lot by plugging in the wrong adapter, fortunately only a cheap voltage regulator gets blown on those.

Sheesh. How much would it have cost them to just put in a 1N914 diode in series with the power jack so you couldn’t blow it up with the wrong polarity? A dollar? Two, at most.

It’s very common on Japanese electronics from the eighties and nineties.

Hi, I recently purchased a Jaguar that turned out to have no power, I have changed the voltage regulator and also the Capacitor (had visibly popped) . I also changed the REG1 chip but am still getting no sound. Could you help? Regards, Jon

Another one up and running! With all these videos of your success, it might be interesting to see some systems that can't be fixed ( without a crazy amount of money) . Your videos are great, awesome job here, and thanks again for sharing 🤘

Yep I don't choose them I just record what I work on that day. I do have a very high success rate but there are a good few videos of ones not getting fixed

I wonder what kind of games the jaguar would have had? If it continued on like the PlayStation did. Jesus loves you!
