Megalodon isn’t design to cut things in half, also people over exaggerating sharks fighting things. Look at Orcas vs Great White Sharks, so GWS fight them, no they just flee. If Mosasaurus met Megalodon, Megalodon would leave it alone, knowing it would lose the fight.
i feel like most people forget about 1 major weakness to every shark, if they are flipped upside down they cant do anything, i would guess the meg would have the same weakness considering how simular they are to modern day sharks.
