My husband and I got married on this train nearly 23 years ago-in fact, we were the first couple to do so! Then in 2019 my husband surprised me by taking us all (including our two kids) on their “Jesse James Excursion” which uses this engine and also has a mock train robbery including a “shoot-out” with the marshals along the ride as well. We all had a great time! When we both worked security at an office building next to the tracks (this was before we had kids), the WSRR volunteers who knew us from our wedding let us get in on the act with the Jesse James rides too by having us get on briefly pretending to be detectives and asking the passengers for info on the “robbery.” It livened up our weekend patrols, and the passengers enjoyed it too!
@@BaltimoreAndOhioRR You’re welcome! Taking the kids on the train was a fun (and unexpected) way to celebrate our 20th anniversary! We’ll be celebrating 23 years this May, and we hope for many more!
We are looking forward for this train ride next weekend.
I really enjoyed this video.
I'm so glad!
Great tank engine. Looks like B&O #99 on Pratt St.
