Possibly but tbh the legender is actually very good on paper with 480 nm and 201 ps so it does have an edge also the electronics are lesser which let fortuner have an edge by allowing manual controls with xuv 700 even if its off the electronics do automatically intervene and also on paper figures are lower thus even in manual legender has higher chances of winning than the xuv 700 in diesel avatar
xuv fwd loses to legender in drag race. we hav raced.
Xuv 700 is very close to my heart we'd cancelled it.. due to some financial conditions..but if we plan again my top most list i will prioritize xuv 700 again..hoping soon to get normal back life conditions. God bless ❤️🙏

Drag Race during Run-In period is not a good idea.... it's very crucial time for any engine.....one has to drive/ride very carefully upto first 1000km and that somehow play a great role defining engine's life and future performance!!
Yes absolutely.. driving upto 120 km/hr uptill first 5000 kilometers is best for the engine to open up properly..

You're going to ruin your car engine by putting it under such intense pressure before the first 1000 km. Just like your thar keeps giving you issues with noise, etc. (That too was your own fault); the same is bound to happen with your xuv.

yes , engine break-in is very important wheather its new car , bike or even scooty... it's always recommended to drive gently for around 1000-1500 without exceeding rpm limit...but yahan to showroom se nikalte hi drag race shuru kr dete sab..

awd system is always on in awd cars and one of the most important thing which awd does is that does not allow cars to loose traction so awd cars in an drag race is not an good idea it will not let the tyres to loose traction thus which results in poor launch xuv diesel will defeat xuv awd in a drag race
You're wrong. Traction is one of the most important things in a drag. Power and weight are other things. Why do drag cars have slick tyres? For traction.

@@kd-do4rh I mean all cars are different. I have a X3 3.0d with 250 bhp and weighs 2 tons. which does 0-100 in 5.5 seconds. Also awd. I also have a stage 2 passat 1.8 tsi which is around 230 bhp, weighs 1.3 tons and front wheel drive. That thing just spins its wheels in the first 2 gears. It does 0-100 in around 8 seconds because of this. So you can have lots of power but if you loose it spinning wheels it slows your car down. I'm not sure how the awd of the 700 works.
@@shashankm31 awd in 700 is not that quick it takes its own time but it is much better than that of 500 and the price segment it comes you can't complain

AWD vehicles doesn't allow tyres to loose traction...so sudden wheel spin... quick launch are not game for AWD vehicles...they are more designed towards maintaining safety. U must try with Petrol Manual...😀👍

Was XUV 700 in Zoom mode ? It has zip zap zoom modes and difference is apparent, drag race requires zoom mode

Arey bhai should have done it with awd on. The extra traction would have helped. The wheel spin is what is slowing it down. Edit: saw the end and it was on awd. So brake boosting was not working. Reving in N and shifting to D was not working. The legender does have way more power 200+bhp and 500 NM but also more weight. I assumed the awd would have pulled ahead ..
