    I'm from Elderslie and it was an act of cultural bastardy when they knocked down the Wallace house in about 1976 That's not on the information boards but not forgotten.

      Think they would rebuild it to using traditional ways, my ancestors were under Farquharson, they came over to Maryland by ship, Tennessee, now Texas, I think there is still a castle, I've always wanted to do a tour over there.

    Moved to Elderslie as a youngling. Went to Wallace primary up until p7. Castlehead after having to walk past that bad boy every day en route to the bus stop. Wee niece now at Wallace primary too ! Yesh
