The one that I don't prefer from Blackpink YET is ability on doing variety shows. I need to see more of blackpink on variety shows.
I feel bad for twice actually because their songs were actually catchy, to be honest. But their live performances just... and also their fans often got me mad. Kinda rude and disrespectful towards seniors. I hope the girls gonna improve more on their vocal to change my opinion about them. And i hope their fans don't try to be the army version of girlgroup stans (SORRY)

It's all about taste. and I think people are allowed to say they stan one more than the other even if others think you can not compare. They are both girlgroups and debuted not that long ago so to me its fair. I love both groups a lot, but since I have a hard time remembering names I prefer blackpink. Literally the only reason. people gotta realize that twice caters to the eastern population while BP caters to the international audience. BP has a edm focused theme to their music while Twice has a more typical upbeat early SNSD esque type of music. Of course western fans will typically choose BP as it fits into the more westernized mindset on the ideal image of a modern day woman (fierce, powerful). However, Twice will always win in Korea as it fits into alot of eastern's males' preference in women. Like it or not, talent isnt the only part thats important for KPOP.

It's not about appealing to males at all, that's a bonus! Twice fans are almost equal amount of girls and guys and they have almost an equal amount of boys and girls listening on Melon. The same way 2NE1 was so successful is because they had a girl crush concept and plenty of girls liked them and became their fan. Twice is a head of BP is Korea because they actually promote and get their name out there.

i will probably get bashed to death but : in my opinion twice is the most overrated girl group in the entire kpop industry. they'be brought out 3 songs in 2 years which aren't even that good/ high quality (from my perspective). Black pink is also a group who is popular because of the entertainment, but as a outside perspective i think their mvs, music and dance is better than twice, and theve brought out 4 mvs in a few *months* .
the song 'cheer up' may be catchy, but isn't something that deserve a big award compared to black pink.
i'm not into those groups, but i listen to their music and albums. some of the members (not gonna name them) are really overdone and fake their personality so much that i just can't stand them, while others appear nice (for example lisa from black pink and sana or momo from twice).
For me, twice is too overrated and black pink really good for a rookie group/ girl group in general.

I first stan Blackpink and when I watched lisa dancing to What is Love that's when I started to discover twice. I remember the first time I watch What is Love with subs and Idk I just feel so at home like they're speaking into me (the lyrics makes me wish to have a crush at that moment). It's Feel special era where I become a once and it's so perfect bc feel special have a very meaningful lyrics. I still stan Blackpink along with Mamamoo, Red Velvet, Dreamcatcher.
