I was thinking U2 were in the market for a new log splitter I seen you looked at Easton made I’m thinking about getting a Wolfridge shipping is only about $400 instead of 1000 and the other factor is a Honda motor
Hey Jeff, thanks for watching. We placed an order on the eastonmade axis in January and are awaiting its arrival. I looked into the wolfridge line but they do not offer a vertical splitter. I do hear that wolfridge makes great machines though.
Take care of yourselves. Lucky me got hit with the covid bug almost 2yrs ago. Was the nasty version of it. Knocked me on my butt for nearly 2wks. Hopefully you got a nicer version of it than I scored. Still waiting on the 2wks notice that Wolfe Ridge sends out when their machines will be ready. Any day now should get that message.

Hi Steve, welcome to our channel. We WERE waiting on the September arrival of the Axis to start splitting when we started that pile. However, after calling Eastonmade in Early August they postponed delivery until possibly January 2023. It is a sore Subject in our household right now. So, I'm not sure if we will use the glacier splitter or continue to wait. I believe Francis wanted to make a video on this topic in the near future. Thanks for watching and commenting. Thanks for watching Del. The grapple is a little over a year old and has been probably my number one attachment I have used on the tractor. We have been hit by the covid bug since this past weekend when we took a little vacation to iowa/illinios. Hopefully by this holiday weekend we may feel good enough to get back outside. Hey David, Brittany prefers to use the ms250 with the 18" bar but she does like the ms391 with 25" bar. The weight of the bigger saw tires her out too fast sometimes. We have not yet fired up the 500i and when we do, (Hopefully this weekend if we feel better) I think she will be the first to run it. She's a go getter and not afraid to run bigger equipment. Thanks Rick. That's the game plan for now, but we may have to break out our slow splitter before the Axis arrives so we can get more wood drying for next year.
