I love it! You did a phenomenal job creating a simple yet sophisticated style without using excessive amounts of product or additional hair. Although the client has obvious issues of hair loss around the hairline she has a gorgeous head of healthy hair. The hairline was protected and you took great care in utilizing her own natural hair to achieve this perfectly balanced outcome. Thank you for sharing this video.
Cosmetology school was so fun for me! One of my closest friends I met there. I’m rooting for you!! Any questions don’t hesitate to dm me on insta I don’t mind 🩷🩷
You did a wonderful job!! I know women who are suffering from this problem, and most stylists just cut it low(fade it) & cut designs in the areas. This is definitely a great idea for those who don't like that option. Keep up the good work... All heroes don't wear capes 💥
First let me say the style looks very beautiful on her. But I have a question is it a good idea to apply chemicals to an area of the scalp that is affected with alopecia and also is it a good idea to do up dos when you have alopecia in areas such as around the edges? If there are any cosmetologist or dermatologist in the comments who could answer my questions I really am curious if it could make the alopecia spread or exactly how it would affect the condition I really like to be educated when it comes to hair care.
Licensed and her stylist here. First and foremost, her hair loss isn’t Alopecia due to any internal or inflammatory issues. Hers is due to stylists she’s gone to before me pulling her hair out. She came to me this way. 2nd, the name of the game is to use as little tension as possible, my ponytails are sleek, not tight. 3rd her alopecia isn’t the type to “spread” As hers is due to improper care due to the “stylists” she went to before she found me. The “chemicals” you see being used especially on her bald sides are black spray (for coverage) and the glue protectant for her bangs, both which can be washed out with water. In my chair, the name of the game is restoration where possible and maintaining and cultivating what’s still there. I hope that helps ❤️

I think I'm going to try this. My hair is short but I think this is doable
You sure can! The mold is the most important, if your pony is too short to attach the braid like I did, pre braid it and Bobby pin it on
Ooh thanks for that because this is definitely a nice and simple style and thanks for sharing
