First, your make up is always so pretty. Not sure if this is always the same lipstick but that pink is so pretty on you. I can’t wait to read book of night. I’ve heard good things about it. Great video as always.
I finally got off the waitlist for Fairyloot and can’t wait to get some of their upcoming exclusives! 🥰 but I’m really glad to have gotten the chance to get Portrait of a Thief - it was my first illumicrate book and it might still be my favorite because the cover alone is so fun and innovative!
I also don't read fantasy (generally) but your enthusiasm for BOTM (and their awsome selection) has pushed me over the edge. I finally subscribed and used your affiliate link. This month, I'll be getting "Daisy Darker". I haven't read a thriller in quite a while but this book gets all the stars! Thanks Sigrid!
I used to get FaeCrate as well but they were having a ton of shipping delays at the time. From what I’ve heard so far, they still are delayed a few months.
The Owlcrate art book is also the perfect size if you save the booklets from them every month too. :) I too wish they would fancy up their books a bit more, but I appreciate that they still are offering an actual author signature rather than digital like FairyLoot is doing! Also, you should totally read Tamora Pierce! Start with Alanna series, it is a fantasy series where a young girl switches spots with her twin brother-him to the monks to learn sorcery, her to the king's castle to learn to be a knight. She has to pretend to be a boy to do so. One of my favorite authors! I still re-read her work. I LOVE that Illumicrate did something for Pierce. She's an older author, still writing, but she's not as popular as some of the newer authors. I'd love for book boxes to showcase older authors other than Tolkien and C.S. Lewis!
The cushion covers are for throw pillows for like your sofa or bed. You can get inserts from most home decor/craft stores and put the pillow in the pocket
I think Owlcrate or FairyLoot’s YA box would be the best option for a young teen. There’s a waitlist currently for Fairyloot but Owlcrate is available right away
I know, I really try to pronounce it correctly but it’s one of those words that I just keep mispronouncing. I’ll try to say it correctly going forward.
@@booksandnotes I meant no disrespect, I call everyone under 50 honey. I didn’t hear an accent, so my brain didn’t automatically go there. Yes, I realize her name is Sigrid, it means Victory and Beauty. Also, I teach, so there’s that. But again, I meant no disrespect.
I enjoyed watching this! 💙
Hi Sigrid! I'm not into fantasy books but the artwork on the books is beautiful. And the extras are really nice.

Aww thank you!! I hope you enjoy the book!
I also love the OwlCrate subscription and am considering adding Faecrate since I find myself getting their own-time boxes again and again 😂

Oooo I have to check out the Alanna series. Thanks for watching! ❤️ ❤️
@@Booksnbeautyofficial You totally should! If you like it, there are several other series in that same universe too. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!!
Loved the unboxing! So much cool stuff
How much is the illumicrate box with shipping to the US? I have Fairyloot and it’s not that bad but I haven’t seen pricing for shipping
Right now I pay $46.99 for Illumicrate. I think it’s a bit cheaper now because they have a US warehouse.
I wish I could get a fairy loot subscription 😂 any ideas how long the wait list actually takes?
Not sure about the wait for fairyloot but I’m hoping it’s quick! October is a double book box btw!
Took me months to get off of the waitlist
I have a young teen that loves books and I am looking for an appropriate subscription box. Does this exist? I have watched your videos but not sure.

Cushion cover ? Could it be for your kitchen chair. Except the cushions that they used to use to weren’t very pretty .
I keep hearing you say ARthur, but author is pronounced like aw-ther
I know, I really try to pronounce it correctly but it’s one of those words that I just keep mispronouncing. I’ll try to say it correctly going forward.
Honey, it’s pronounced Awe-thur, not Arth-er. Love your vids though.
