Isn't it amazing how Lily and James Potter never made an actual appearance in the book but still almost everybody feels them as a character so much? Like we all know them? I think that is because of the excellent writing of JK Rowling.
Four suggestions: 1°: What if Lily, James or both survived? 2°: What if Hagrid, Minerva or even Severus was Harry's guardian insteed of the Dursley's? 3°: What if Harry was a girl? and my favorite: What if Voldemort and Tom Riddle got separeted into two, opposites beings?
i think this video is a great idea but it would have to wait until all the fantastic beasts come out so we have more information on how he effected the world and how it all played out in real life
I don't think he never opened up to other women in an intimate way, the dark lord said severus agreed that there were other women that would better suit him other than Lilly and I think he would want to prove that so the dark lord wouldn't suspect him of still loving a muggle born

If Snape would've been put in Gryffindor, then he would never join the death eaters. Snape would never hear and later tell Voldemort about the prophecy. Voldemort wouldn't have went to Godric's Hollow to try and kill Harry, meaning that he wouldn't vanish. Voldemort would then never lose his power, and he would eventually rule the wizarding (and possibly muggle) worlds.

Thus for both of them Snape was a manifestation of what they most hated. Lupin was desperate to keep the only friends he had and Pettigrew was seeking to stay on good terms with as Black put it in the third book the biggest bully on the block. For his part Snape fell into a gang of Slytherin bullies who matched and even exceeded the deeds of the Marauders, which made him even more of a target for them. If Snape had been in another house or if he had fell into a neutral group or stood up to the Slytherin bullies I doubt the Marauders would have been as cruel.
Only Sirius and James did it as far as we are shown (Snape said James would only take him four on one but we clearly see that wasn't the case), Remus tried ignoring what his friends did (I have a theory for this) and Pettigrew encouraged them (so again only two on one). James hated the Dark Arts and Snape was all about it (he knew more dark spells than most of the seventh years when they entered Hogwarts according to Sirius). He saved Harry several times because of Lily. Yet JK has said if Harry wasn’t The Boy Who Lived, he wouldn’t care about Harry at all. And he was capable of everlasting love. Personally I think he was bad, but not evil. When he was following Voldemort we have no idea what acts (other than stuff involving Lily) that he did as a death eater. I believe he was capable of great regret later on about that. He was a sincere death eater when he was young, but saved Hogwarts students from harsher punishments as Headmaster later.

I think dedicating himself to her memory gave him great purpose and singlemindedness, which is perhaps why -- in addition to his having issues with close personal relationships -- he never seemed to look for anyone else, even for comfort. I think it's also why he lashed out. After her death, he practically lives a form of death (social death). But he said something in the HBP film very curious when he was concerned for his soul and taking Dumbledore's life. That speech where he says something to the effect of "perhaps you ask too much. Has it ever crossed that brilliant mind of yours that perhaps I don't want to do this anymore." Not sure if that is in the book. It feels like he's grasping for straws and by then his unbreakable vow locked him in, anyway. Still, that made me wonder about what was going on under the surface that no one ever saw. That made me think someone knew or something was going on not part of what the viewer saw. It's a tantalizing suggestion. It also inspired me to write something that worked out a whole story that makes sense of that phrase because it indirectly (if accurately) speaks to a longing for a life he did not live. That became my point to develop how that would go and who that person would be. It took a year to write (less but I tinkered for a few months after actually finishing). I just felt that there is something under the surface there and it's a story in itself, if not really entirely his story.
There are a lot of fanfictions on that one. Most say that since Severus spy status it wouldn't be safe so Lily extended her pregnancy and married James to conceal her child with Severus. She would also charm Harry to look like James. Lily and James then die (James will never now it was Severus son). Severus gets the news of Harry's true parents late (somewhere in the 4th or 5th year) and tries to fix things. I hope that intrests you in some fanfictions. They are not all weird.
finally a video that isn't simple book description, the reason I started watching you mate. keep at it, great insight into shape. I'd very much prefer if instead of. releasing videos daily you'd take more time with it and release lomger videos with longer pauses but I get it may be impossible due to time restrictions.

Who was the bravest. Snape or James? Snape cos he put his life on the line in the second wizarding war and was forced to kill his only friend, Dumbledore by Dumbledore. Snape didn't deserve o die, yeah he could be a bully sometimes but he saved harry dozens of times. There were subtle things that told us he was on dumbldore and Harrys side when harry is trying to fight him in hbp outside hagrids hut he doesn't shoot any spell back at harry. Also when he's dueling with McGonagall he doesn't shoot back a spell instead aims ones she's shooting at him back to the carrow siblings behind him
I wouldn't call holding face against Harry an achievement. Harry was very observant and perceptive but he was biased against Snape because of the way Snape treated him. Even if Snape showed the slightest emotion of sadness or regret Harry would've likely mistaken it for something else.

He is also a master spy.. you need some cunning and manipulation for that. Also gryffindor isn't only about being brave. Its also about being Honorable , in search of Glory.. Snape didn't deserve o die, yeah he could be a bully sometimes but he saved harry dozens of times. There were subtle things that told us he was on dumbldore and Harrys side when harry is trying to fight him in hbp outside hagrids hut he doesn't shoot any spell back at harry. Also when he's dueling with McGonagall he doesn't shoot back a spell instead aims ones she's shooting at him back to the carrow siblings behind him

I wouldn't call holding face against Harry an achievement. Harry was very observant and perceptive but he was biased against Snape because of the way Snape treated him. Even if Snape showed the slightest emotion of sadness or regret Harry would've likely mistaken it for something else.

He is also a master spy.. you need some cunning and manipulation for that. Also gryffindor isn't only about being brave. Its also about being Honorable , in search of Glory.. And most famous of all act before thinking.. Severus self-presevation is a Slytherin quality to. He didn't really jump into situations.. Only when neccesary with no alternatives.
