I now have 5 pairs of the Speedcross 6 - they are AWESOME!!! My hubby has two pairs and we both think they are the most comfortable, yet "secure feeling" shoes we have ever worn! Normally I would not buy so many of a type of shoe, but I love these so much, I want to make sure I have enough to last me years and years. It seems that usually when I find something I really like, and use them until they are getting worn out, then go to buy the same thing, it can't be found.

The Quest 4D sole is too stiff, for me it's difficult to walk 8 Km in this boots. I can walk 30km in light sport shoe no problem.

Buy none, Salomon is trying to make a comeback but they Keep making crappy shoes. I thought they were better. I used them for 20 minutes , the arch has sharp edges up to the side I never felt this in other shoes. My suggestion, get something else.

They are no longer made in France. They were bought up by a Chinese company during the pandemic and have since moved their entire production line to Vietnam. The new Chinese owner is trying to turn it into a $1BN dollar business and with that comes lower quality, lower production costs but higher profitability. t's all about marketing instead of quality. Sad to see Salomon go downhill.
