I’ve never seen “everything at the same time” pulled off so well. It captures vintage fashion from the 50s to 80s from several cultures and it ties together so beautifully.
Alessandro continues to shakeup the convention of catwalks and collections with this show. His vision seems to centre more on individual pieces, masterfully curated into ensembles on each model, with no need for the show to be restricted to an obvious theme (or even season - aka the full length 'summer' fur coat). We are given no light or time to study each creation in detail , but are presented a fleeting glimpse to drink up the aesthetic and respond in the instant. Perhaps this is why it feels so fresh and current.

And than you will fall in love with Michele's Gucci. I saw his first collection in 2015 and i thought for a second :"damn, it's ugly or it's beautiful?" , it was beautiful, gorgeous, stunning! And i falled in love, it is so beautiful, every single piece and the complete looks, every detail is an art. Alessandro's Gucci is a wearable art.
I personally don't love any of the pieces but I have to say Gucci definitely has a new vision and is finally cool again. I will always love the classic Gucci of yore, but this is a great direction for the brand.

Waauw! Amazing! Some of the dresses reminded me of my mom's dresses in the 80's ♥️ I remeber trying them on 🙌🙌 and kept begging my mother to save them for me for when I grow up. Unfortunatly the war begon and messed everything up... But this definitely brought a smile on my face 🤗 thank you
I know everyone is saying how cool this is and everything is amazing but to me personally a lot of the pieces look like they have been thrown together at a jumble sale I just can't see where he was going with this mix I mean come on just cos it's Gucci everyone says it's amazing but a lot of this stuff you wouldn't be seen dead walking down the street in would any of you walk down the street in that bright purple pink and metallic orange jumpsuit cos I know I wouldn't , look at Versace that was gorgeous it looked like something you could actually wear very classy
