I Live in Little Rock , Arkansas and we do not have an international airport. Does that matter , if I wanted to take off and to go directly to an international location?
Claus, You have my dream job. I know of someone here in the states who flies G650ERs. He was Air Force and then flew heavies for a bit and now flies Gulfstream jets. I'm pursuing my flight training and education through a bachelor degree program here in the states through which I can acquire all the necessary ratings. In the long-er run, is a dream gig like this all about making connections/who you know? I'd imagine employers would obviously want experienced pilots with a resume of FIC of several jets before even thinking of hiring you. Do they typically want guys who have flown for airlines?
How come your first landing is on the left seat? :) Great video though, I wish I will land such a great airplane someday. At this moment I'm finishing my PPL enjoying how cool is that to see the world from 2000ft, but at the same time looking up for bigger aircrafts at FL380 :)
Great moment, congrats!. If I was the owner or a passenger on board, I would suggested you try to avoid those center line lights. You should treat carefully the undercarriage of US$M65-US$M70 aircraft, specially the tires and besides the sound and lack of comfort for the passengers.
Two more items, has there been an explanation for the test flight crash with wing touching the runway re: simulated engine failure on takeoff. Secondly, why the choice of RR engines, seeing that RR has exhibited some shabby workmanship on the A380 engines.
Actually I did a google search long before my commenting but I'm still a bit confused. Assuming exact same conditions, same altitude achieved above the runway and a genuine engine failure what did the manufacturer do to ensure a different outcome? Spoon feed me just a bit, OK? Further, please tell me how the G650 system with yoke, stick shaker (really old technology) is superior to the Legacy 500 fly by wire, for example, in terms of over speed, stall, auto throttle etc. Finally, are you aware of the shabby workmanship by RR causing the first engine failure on the A380 flight to Australia? How about the shabby header design on the fuel heating system on the Boeing 777 that crash landed due to fuel starvation at London few years ago? How about RR contribution to the Air Transat A330 incident involving a serious fuel leak above the Atlantic number years ago. Seems that RR supplied incorrect fuel line mounting brackets.
This whole plane is DANCING in the air. It wasn't stable for one second. That's why I've never even dreamed of flying a private jet. All its advantages are outweighed by its miniscule weight. A spit from a skylark sends it into frantic shaking. So basically you have to pay $80 million to be more uncomfortable both in flight and during landing/takeoff than a coach passenger on the cheapest low-coster.
What an incredible landing! Right down the centerline. Beautifully done!
cheers mate
Great vid, well done. You make it look effortless.
So beautiful landing!! ♥️♥️♥️
Impressive job. They don't get much better than that.
Simply wonderfull !
What noise is that when touching down? Is it the tarmac concrete separations?
This aircraft is slightly more quiet in the cockpit when compared to the bombardier Global 7500,...

Claus, what does the "beep beep beep" mean after touch down? autothrottle disconnected?
Yes
where's the heating controls in those planes ??
Claus Thanner ive always wondered where they were, what's the internet signal like in those planes is it slow or is it instant access ?
Claus Thanner $66 million for a plane with slow internet id be asking for a price reduction lol
Good job Sir!
Gulfstream will go side sticks for all models at some point. A really a good idea in a small cockpit.
Why not? But NO champagne!
Fly-by-wire?
Great video - you caught everything. How long would it take a G650 to fly from New York to Denver CO?
Did you ever answer the repeated question of what is that banging noise at Landing?
Centerline lights
what's that noise after nose wheel touch down.
o i c
Landing like a pro!
He is a pro
nice landing Claus!
Of course I know. Without their training you could never fly a much modern jet CX will ever see in the foreseeable future.
Claus, Did you ever get to land at Kai Tak?
Claus Thanner What was that Knocking sound?
007mrmrbig h
Which is better wired control or manual control?
@@ClausThanner thank you sir for the reply i love watching privateplanes i learned a lot on your videos..
My pleasure. Happy NY
what is the Bump Bump Bump sound when braking?
He is hitting the centerline lights.
Claus, how'd you get to this current position, as in your path?
Claus Thanner awesome thanks!
what the banging sound
That's the centreline.
Thoroughly enjoyed the quality of this video. Klaus, any way you can make more from this jumpseat perspective ?
Hey where's the runway??? oh there it is... 5 minutes later!!

Andrew Hooker hahahahaha he didn’t even answer your question, but I will. Yes, In the aviation industry connections can get you places
Cool Cat...

Best of luck mate :D
That's the normal seat the captain sets in, co- pilot is the right seat. In most configurations. 😎
Claus, what's the longest leg you have done to date ??
Claus Thanner + You want to fly the whole way manually? ;)
That is why you should get a good comrade (friend ) you can talk all the day and those hours will be too short
Interior looks like boeing 787
Great moment, congrats!.

@@ClausThanner LOL, Just keep on landing on top of the whoops. Cheers.
at landing sounds likea flat tire
@@ClausThanner someone said it's the lights on the runway plane is hitting them
Those yokes make the 650 as bit of a joke

True fact. As is the fact that rich man's attitude rubs on his lackeys. :-)
there are bigger private jets than this one, fyi.
