- Immediate upgrades I can recommend for any new Super73 owner! I chose the R version for my needs and it saved me enough from the RX to get all of these mods.
Here’s a brief installation tutorial for these parts, let me know what you think of the final build!

Nice review! Based on your findings I just bought the light for my RX. It sounds like a great add on. Hope it holds out in the rainy Dutch weather.
The light should be fine but the battery pack isn’t waterproof for the R. Since you can wire it directly to the bike on the RX I’m pretty sure it’ll be waterproof for you though! May need to wrap it with some tape to be safe where it connects

Great review thanks. I was going to order a Super 73 R, but reconsidering because of the hill issue. I live in a neighborhood with all rolling Hills. Ca anyone recommend a E Bike that performs great on steep hill?
Sur Ron X is a monster for stuff like that. Slightly more on the dirt bike spectrum but worth a look. It’s tough to find throttle only e-bikes that are good with hills. If you pedal assist with the R it’s not bad but it doesn’t cruise up a hill either

They definitely have black but I haven’t seen Olive. Someone on Etsy might make one though

Is the blur seat an upgrade in terms of comfort?
Overall I’d say yes, it’s a little wider which I don’t think is as comfortable in that regard but the cushion feels more comfortable. So as long as you sit with a wider stance it’s more comfortable.
Hey Kyle, I am assuming a wrench and Phillip's head or Allen wrench is all you need for the KaneBuilt light?
Yep, just a wrench and hex key are all you need, I'm 90% sure they included it with the light.. been a few months and I have my own tools but pretty sure.
@@KylePugliese just installed mine. For reference they only included an Allen key. No wrench. Also, I chose to install my mounting brackets upside down - that way I could mount the two brackets all the way to the top of the forks. I didn’t like them floating mid way on the fork. Also I think it works better with their low rise handlebars.
Nice! I'll have to check that out, I installed the handlebars a few weeks after this video. Big fan of the looks after doing so.
Is the bag big enough to stash the charger for the S2?
Yep, it'll fit the charger
so does it come with the battery pack or is it plug in play into the super73 battery I'm confused the website when I order didn't mention anything
You need the RX to wire directly to the super73 battery. I didn’t have the RX just the R so I had to get a battery pack. They mentioned making an adapter at some point but I haven’t looked into it recently

How long does that external battery last on a full charge?
Are you using the battery that came with it or did you upgrade it to a bigger size?
For the lights? I’ve never run it dead but I’ve used it for an hour and it didn’t lose more than a bar. I’m guessing you’d get 4-6 hours but that’s a gut sense it may be a lot longer. I charge it every time I’m done using it
