Nah this Faze performance ain't due to Robban leaving. It's simply that they have lost the appetite to win anything in csgo anymore. Can't blame them per se as they have won almost all the major T1 tourneys anyways but a person can expect more from the last season champs right? But as a G2 fan I am fearful about the next Mouz vs G2. Hopefully it won't be lackluster like this match was.
Definitely gonna be a coin flip depending on what kind of G2 we see. If it's IEM G2, done deal 2-0, but if it's more like Paris G2, it'll be really rough 😅
I do disagree on the Robban take though, i think even before they closed off that grand slam they were already slowing down quite a fair bit. I dont think the slump is entirely due to Robban leaving, I think other teams have just seen enough of them to be able to play around how Faze plays and counter them.
Or who knows, maybe they're focusing on CS2 strats behind the scenes. As viewers our info is pretty limited. I dont think it's as simple as "we dont feel like trying", though

this is copium. You don't get to this level of competitiveness by being wishy washy with the drive to win. These players want to win.
what happened to faze man? They provided us with some of the greatest game of csgo we have seen, such as mirage vs g2 on katowice 2022, or colonge 2022 finals vs navi, the semi final game vs mouz as well it was some of the most entertaining cs, but this game, it seems like they were just there, Like c9 or liquid was just present in the tourney, or how Eg is present. No vigor or any sort of feeling that they wanna win this game

the competitive scene became stronger, they kinda stayed where they were. Their playstyle also doesn't have the fundamentals that would guarantee them a win against tricky teams like mouz

As a G2 fan, no offense Faze fans but I'm lowkey happy Mouz won because even though Faze is at a slump right now, I feel like they're still able to, on any random day, turn into 2022 Faze and be unbeatable all of a sudden for one match and then go back to their slump.
Mouz did really good in this series! Looking really solid under siuhy :D
Of course, in 24 hours I may be regretting feeling this way, and if Mouz destroys G2, feel free to laugh at me because I'm gonna be laughing at myself too 😅

While motivation might be low now with cs2 on the horizon, that doesn't excuse the poor performances from the legends on Faze. I think even if a major was coming up, they'd still be performing below expectations. Heading into CS2, a roster change of some sort might be necessary to inject some real spirit into them and perhaps reset that 6 month timer karrigans rosters seem to always have.

if xertion gets more consistent, he can definitely be a top5 player in the world. so much potential in this dude... he just needs to be more consistent overall. he's awesome when he's on his a-game and feeling himself during a match. 😀 really surprised that so many big teams are out already. vitality, faze, astralis heroic. insane lol.😂
Twistzz has really just fallen off hard imo hes actually one of the reasons theyre underperforming right now. His playstyle was always a bit dependent on his insane mechanics but with him changing sens, res and mouse/mousepad every 2 weeks you can just see the discomfort and the akward misses start to come through and inconcistency increase, hes really gotta step
up for faze to perform

look at most of their defeats. its broky fell off. karrigan igling so outdated. many teams read them like a book, most of the time u see ropz and twistzz carrying hard. even twistzz switching his role to entry and support. sometimes. broky fell off so hard. its not the same broky who was dominating and MVP level like 2022. he becomes so passive, sometimes if hes aggressive he misses and dies

I like jimpphat but prime b1t is a lot more, he is just merely a stand in for a legendary player at the time(flamie) and won his first million dollar tournament soon after the win against astralis. Not to mention in his first big debut against cloud 9 at the time, he was massive. And his 2021 is just clean and hit top 20 immediately.
