Retiring to Holland in June! So excited. I love the outdoors and I love art, so I have great state parks in Saugatuck and Holland, the beautiful beaches in the summer, and plenty of art galleries, museums, and artists all over the area to play with! Hope College has some great events for the public, and the library is terrific. And don’t forget Meijer Botanic Garden. The birding is terrific. I have a couple of great horned owls living in my new back yard. 😊
We're coming out in about 6 months to look around. We're moving from california(originally from Texas) veterans. And the grand rapids or traverse city seem to check all of our boxes. We live in a lake cabin now and want something similar with as many acres as possible. We've seen quite a few on the outskirts that are beautiful

Lived in Kzoo, Holland, Wayland. Grand Rapids is one of the hottest job markets in the country. But as big as its gotten, like Holland, it's got good eats but not much other to do. Liked k-zoo the best.
I moved to Ohio, I couldn't find work in my field there. Things I have noticed. My insurance for full coverage is $400 every 6 months. I spent more than that for basic coverage in Michigan. The cost of living is less than it was in Michigan.
