Cheers Jim, I really put it through it to the test over the last couple of months. I have a few commercial gigs coming up that I will be needing it. I won’t be mounting the Fuji GFX100 on it though!
It's funny, I have zero use for a gimbal but still imagine I need one, GAS indeed. Are you picking up your mail at that property yet? You spend a lot of time there ;-) Great walk-through! Happy New Year!
Absolutely, I have kept the keys - they are not having them back :-) I often have access to various properties but they are usually my client’s houses and they don’t want their personal possessions exhibited on a RUclips, so this holiday let is the perfect location, well furnished and has plenty of space for me to whizz around with a gimbal. Thanks for watching the review Brian.
Great video! The only thing I am struggling with is getting my camera in vertical mode on the gimbal. For some reason it doesn’t lock on the main slider, and my camera won’t stay in place. Is there anyway to fix this?!
Hello, this is difficult to fix without seeing if you are missing a part or not doing something quite right. If I recall the mount to make it vertical is kind of a ‘C’ shape and it slides along the horizontal bar and has a safety catch on it. But there is a tightening lock on it, so unless you are missing that (if it comes off?) then I cannot see what could go wrong. Best ask Zhiyun technical help or watch a few tutorials here on YT to see if there are some close up images of how to do it.
That’s a great review and I like the video you made. I’ve tried videoing without a gimbal before and it just doesn’t work. I can’t keep the horizon level, which is critical in real estate videos, and I can’t hold the camera steady.
Thanks Clark, real estate videos require incredible stable footage and because you are surrounded by perfectly vertical walls you can easily spot when the horizon is off, as you say. Thanks for watching as always.
Yes, exactly what Hellen said, there is a minimum weight for a gimbal. You shouldn’t buy a camera gimbal for a mobile, companies make gimbals specifically for mobile phones which are cheaper and have smaller lighter motors.
Hello, I wasn’t paid anything to make this review by Zhiyun. Plus I would have to declare it, as that’s the rules of RUclips (sponsored videos). But I was sent the gimbal to keep, and I could say whatever I wanted without their say, which I did at the end of the video. I hope that this is helpful, let me know if you have any question on the gimbal. Thanks. Ben.
What a fantastic review for this product. You covered pretty much everything.
PS. That house is AMAZING! :o
Thank you - glad you enjoyed the video!
good review Ben and definitely looks like it has some good functionality about it.

Can I put an iPhone 14 Pro Max on it?
The smartphone is too light for this camera gimbal.

Looks like hes paid by the company to promote this item...
