We cook them in many dishes, but they are not supposed to be eaten directly.
As someone who loves lemons and will eat them as is, I just HAVE TO try this.
They are meant to be cooked with.

This is also the guy that only orders rolls that don't have the seaweed wrapper or any raw fish. So, basically, just rice and veggies in roll form. So no, not the least but surprised.
@@ShawnMega ginger is a palate cleanser. Idk exactly what wasabi does, but we learn about sushi in culinary school.

Link going first is such a game changer for him. He’s much more confident in his intuition and not influenced by Rhett. And I love how the crew is so supportive, jokingly or not, and Rhett is a good team player,

I just noticed that they used inverted images for Antigua and Barbuda and Haiti. Meaning that the image shown for Antigua and Barbuda is actually the Haiti one and vice-versa.

Nah I doubt the mythical kitchen made this because pickled things are time consuming to make, unless they planned really far ahead. Pickling is a process. I'd be willing to wager that they actually amazoned these things.
They prob just used their own non labelled jars for appearance purposes, and well, if they kept them in the original packaging it'd probably give away the country of origin . Which is the whole point of this game lol

Pickling is such a diverse art. I've had sauerkraut that was pickled without vinegar because it was fermented on its own in aged barrels with only salt, it's own internal juices becoming the vinegar. That stuff was incredible. Best sauerkraut I ever had. I also regularly buy a number of pickled products from Mezzetta, including banana pepper rings and giardiniera vegetable mix.
Pickling stuff is one of my favorite hobbies. My friend made pickled watermelon spears once, and you wouldn't think that would taste good but MAN that was delicious.
Wait, isn't that just... regular sauerkraut? I thought it was always just fermented, like kimchi.

As a guy from Belize I can confirm we do make pickled habanero sauces like that but they're typically just sliced habanero, onions, and vinegar. Typically used as a spicy topping for rice and beans and other local dishes, not eaten as a dish which I'm guessing is also the case for that Haitian sauce. haha

Vinegar is one of the greatest discoveries of all time. Without it we wouldnt have worcestershire sauce which i will literally just drip on my tongue a few times when im cooking. So friggin good. Love sour stuff.
