I've had beetle mania since I learned to walk and saw my first ground beetle! I've had so many beetle pets and even witnessed one (Carabus sp.) killing and partially devouring a mantis that was twice his size! Amazing animals indeed

Editing effects make it hard to concentrate on what I'm seeing. It actually takes the human mind a moment after a animated transition to grasp what you're looking at and if the transition is taking up anywhere from 10% to 50% of the length of the total clip then you're really missing most of the video. it would be worth reuploading this after replacing all the transitions with just hard cuts to the clips and removing the special effects on the actual clips themselves.

Hard on the eyes for younger people as well. A lot of these nature documentaries suffer from being over-edited and having effects as if it was an action movie.

Technically, the correct term is coccinellida. -_^
Like a lot of creatures, ladybugs have a number of common names - including ladybird, ladybird beetle, lady beetle and a few others. One is as correct as the next - sort of like how "cougar, mountain lion" or "puma" can be used interchangeably.
