It's not very colorful, but BOY is the broom-laser incredible as a representation of Suletta's arc reaching its climax. It might be the first gunpla I buy.

While it is still monochromatic, I was able to appreciate much more closely the details on it. Aerial is still my favorite WFM unit, I also have the HG kit, but Calibarn has become a close second.
When you think about it, it's possible the whole series was setting up for calibarn to be recognized as the "true Gundam" of the series. And what I mean by that is that Gundam Aerial while powerful as well as the other Gundams are never really referred to as "demons, monsters, Oni, or devils" like other main Gundams in their respective series even though they are feared and considered monstrous machines that's only because they actually run the risk of killing their pilots simply by being in them not because of how dangerous they are in battle because they have developed working countermeasures against them, Gundam Caliburn however was immediately referred to as the monster and I understand that the name of the Gundam as well as the title of "monster" reference is it to another story but it can also be a reference for the fact that this can be considered the actual true Gundam of the series.
I agree. Plus, the Calibarn looks the most gundam out of all of them, with the iconic V fin. Plus, I think the Calibarn was the original gundam prototype created by orchs earth and vandis. It would fall in line with the theme that the prototype gundam is the most powerful but also the most dangerous to pilot and it only being introduced later in the series, like with Gundam Wing.
I love how this is a more heroic version of sulettas theme from episode 1. Its not as upbeat or innocent but it really reflects her growth as a character and how her experiences in the series tempered her.

The initial part of this song really seem like it was the song of hope, symbolising the hope that came through in the form of calibarn which is piloted by suletta, which is ironic considering calibarn is deemed as a monster machine/unit, but in the right hands is now being used to hopefully put an end to what has been an utter tragedy.

Not to mention, Peil's still out there, having thrown everyone ELSE under the bus.

You know, i'm surprised we didn't hear anything about the Caliban before the anime debut, whereas we had lots of spoilers for other units before their on-screen debuts (like the Gundvolvas, Demi Barding, etc).
Caliban's theme reminds me of a scene where the Soviets desperately holding the line from the German onslaught as reinforcements finally arrive to relieve and take over the fight...
Seeing Suletta in so much pain and knowing what Gundams do to their pilots in this timeline I don't see Suletta surviving this series. I hope I am wrong.
I'm sure that the people who watched gundam NT BEFORE will know why when they look at the calibarn gundam they will be reminded of Narrative gundam if not at least thats how i feel

The irony being that in the original Shakespearian play it was Caliban that was the monster and Aerial the angel.
