If you think about it the calibarn was project lead in the same time as ifrith who was converted into aerial so the bit was probably a mutual development and conception to save time and money or it just the magic of the scénario after all who now
I wish the show had more room to show the setting and let the other characters time to "cook" more, 36 episoder and slower paced and it would have been perfect. Still enjoyed it though. Here's hoping things change in Japan that'll allow studios more time and better working conditions to make an even better robot show.
Even with you saying the mix needs work, just goes to show hope much fun it is to arrange *solid compositions,* like polish away but it still sounds like such great music before those steps. Gosh I love putting together arrangements and realizing how solid the composition is lol
Yes it is so much fun to work on solid arrangement and the process of mixing. Especially this big theme needs huge mixing if it needs to sound powerful while not noisy. Therefore takashi is really amazing on this piece.

The ending was so satisfyingly beautiful, and Calibarn’s final form was awesome.
